Padre Pio: True Story Paperback – 1 Dec. 1982

I bought this biography as a present for a friend and have given it to her. She expressed her delight at the present. We both have a high regard for this saint, and I know from previous versions of the book it is a very good read.

This is an authoritative and well written account of the extraordinary life of Padre Pio; (and not withstanding the extraordinary, and deeply spiritual wold that we are drawn in to), is the author's ability to keep the reader's feet on the ground, which I am sure is what Padre Pio would have wanted.

A good warts-and-all account of an extraordinary man. Legends around him were stated objectively leaving the reader to draw his own conclusions

Faith inspiring and factually accurate. This book inspires devotion and prayer for all committed to seeking the face of Christ in their daily lives.
