AirTag helped me find my cat!
I had been looking for a tracking device for my cat who likes to wander around our neighborhood and beyond sometimes. I tried several trackers designed specifically for cats, but got poor results due to lack of range, no pinpoint accuracy location, short battery times, and not wanting to have to pay for a monthly tracking service.I read about the AirTags and even though Apple officially states these are not for tracking cats, I tried it out after also reading several success stories on finding your cat. The warning was that pets might swallow them, but I think this was more for dogs. Please beware and do your research, but I felt cats wouldn't be interested in eating the tag since they are smarter, hee hee!The AirTag works with the Find My app and is super easy to install and use. It is pinpoint accurate meaning you don't have to walk all over the place to try and locate a signal or search an area where the cat might be hiding. The only drawback is that the Find My tech pings off other Apple devices to get signals and locate so if you live in a rural area or where no one uses Apple devices, then this might not be the best option. I also love that the battery lasts about a year and you can replace with a new battery when the time comes.I was skeptical but willing to try since it's an awful feeling when your beloved cat doesn't come home! Within two days of having this on my cat (with a special collar you can get on Amazon too designed for the AirTags) he decided to go on one of his lengthy prowls that would usually keep him out all night. He hadn't come home for dinner so I pulled up the app and was shocked to see his location was about a mile away in a different neighborhood! I thought the tag had malfunctioned or that the collar had come off, or someone snatched him. I would never have believed he would go that far from home. I hopped in my car, followed the GPS, and drove to where the tracker was pinging.Lo and behold, I found my little stinker Henry in someone's yard about to fight with another cat. It was dark, and I would never have found him without the tracker and the noise that it makes when you push the Play Sound feature. He actually looked baffled as to how I was standing there. I snatched him up and we drove home, and I can't tell you how relieved I was and how happy I am with my AirTag! The set I purchased came with four so I'm now using one in my luggage, have an extra for a backup, and gifted the last one to a friend. Highly recommend!

You pay for the brand, you get the quality with apple... normally
GPS and high accuracy tracking works great, durable, I simply cannot pick on it at all. It's a GPS tracker that works and just works right.Okay, it's an air tag. There's really not much to pick on at this point point for an apple product that just works. But I was wrong. How does this not wireless charge?? It LOOKS like it wireless charges. very surprised. A bit disappointed. I've read some do and some don't but these did not. Solid 4 our of 5, could be better, but not by much. that said, I'm giving it 5 because it does what it should, the purchase was quick and painless, the setup was painless, and they tuck super easily in bags and whatnot.

Small and can be easily misplaced, but a great tool for tracking baggage
We love these AirTags. I was able to divide the four pack up and give my two children each one, and my husband and myself took the other two. I bought a cute keychain to attach to the AirTags and have them placed inside each suitcase. You do have to register these Apple AirTags with your Apple accounts. But it is a great way to track your baggage or anything else that is important to you. We do a lot of international traveling and have lost many suitcases through the years. To be honest since I’ve started to use them, I have not had a suitcase go missing. So I cannot tell you if it would be an easy way to retrieve a lost suitcase or not. I have tracked my suitcases and it shows them to be exactly where they are supposed to be. I don’t want to put it to the test to see if I could notify the airline when my suitcase goes missing to tell them exactly where it is. That would be a risk I would not want to take unless absolutely needed. As far as I can tell on my end, the tracking is accurate and the ease and it’s use is wonderful. They are small and can easily be lost. Just be aware of that.

Easy to set up and use!
They work really well. They were easy to set up on each of my family's iPhones before they left for vacation. Tracking was simple and accurate for their luggage and handbag. A reminder popped up on their phone to let them know they left the bag behind if it became separated from the iPhone for a specific distance and time.Very much worth the purchase.

They work perfectly for my dogs and my purse
I'm not certain I can say any more than has already been said about these. I use them on my dogs' collars, when we're out walking and at the dog parks. My particular concern was an unfenced off-leash place we go to, often. My dogs have great recall (or I'd never let them off-leash there), but when I squirrel comes out, all bets might be off. I can always see where they are. Same with my purse. Of course, I never want to lose it, but I feel like if I happened to do so, I could find it quickly.Interestingly, when we stop and I leave the dogs in the car with my boyfriend, and I go into a store, I'm always notified that I've left "items" behind. It tells me the name of said item. This would be wonderful, if for any reason I was somehow distracted, and they got away.I DO wish Apple would make less expensive holders for these, of if they came with some kind of rudimentary holder in the box. I did find VERY inexpensive, very secure holders that fit over their collars (made of silicone) here on Amazon, and they do the trick.

Extremely accurate 97% of the time
These are incredibly useful, as you can use them as like a metal detector, letting you know how close or far you are away From it, down to the inch when you get close enough. But, the baterries seem to be very unstable inside of them, they drain very quickly, unless they come with a battery an 1/8th of the way full, I would expect about 7/8ths the battery life out of them. Also, the one I use to wear on my keys, so that I never lose them, just basically fell apart. I’ve been meaning to take it back to Apple. But the only store that I know of is in this posh little shopping village called Crocker Park 25min drive from where I live.
