This air purifier is AMAZING…
UPDATED REVIEW: ONE MONTH LATER, STILL GOING STRONG, WITH FILTER PHOTO...I am thrilled to say that I am still happy with this product and purchase overall. I haven't had any issues with noise, responsiveness or the basic functions of the unit. It has continued to keep the air in room cleaner and fresher than before. The only thing I have noticed it that runs considerably longer than it did the first 7-10 days without any real changes in how I clean/keep the space around it. Without this variable change, it makes me wonder how efficient the unit is truly running, since it kicks on the moment I open my bedroom door and will continue to run unless I close it (if I do close the door then it senses it, and will continue to run until it "senses" the air quality is back to excellent per my setting in the app). The filter reading on the app is at 79%, which seems in line with how often/long the unit seems to be running these days though I concern for how long it will last long-term if this trend continues, and I'm only one month into use.***I was at the tailend of my update when I removed the front cover to look at the filter, and to both my surprise and horror I found what I believe is the answer to my efficiency question! It looks like this thing is doing its job plus some. I would say that 79% Filter Life remaining (as shown in the app) is generous. I will be replacing the filter toot suite and update after that. In the meantime, this air purifier is worth every penny and doing a very good job, all things considered.***I am a first time air purifier user/buyer, so I wasn’t entirely certain what to expect from this air purifier (I bought the version with the Sensor) out of the box. Out of the gate, I loved this thing. First, it was super easy to set up. It’s really lightweight, there are a couple of parts that are necessarily wrapped in plastic for shipping that must be unwrapped and replaced, then simple instructions for scanning a QR Code so you can power and control the unit from your phone. Start to finish, with pairing to my WiFi…maybe 7 minutes…? Awesome. Next…quality/air cleanliness—I purchased this purifier for my bedroom because we have two cats, so there is always some hair/dander around in between vacuuming. That said, it’s likely larger than what the room needs, but I figure you can’t go wrong if you err on the side of too much rather than too little here. As soon as the unit powers up, it “senses” how clean the air in the room is and goes to work accordingly. If the the air quality is “poor,” for instance, it will kick on to eliminate the impurities until the room’s air quality is back to “excellent.” It has display lights and ambient lighting options that can all be controlled from the app, including opacity, which are cute functions. The real draw for me, though, is this thing’s responsiveness. From time to time, I like to light a candle in my bedroom. Typically, if I light a candle that is 10-15 ft. away from where the unit sits in my bedroom, it senses that the air quality has changed and kicks on within a minute or so of having lit it. This is consistent, and something I really love about this thing! Also…the app tells you what the filter level is at (%), there are different options for running it like high-efficiency, or low, med, high, a low-noise option, etc. Overall, I don’t mind the noise this purifier puts out, but that’s just me. It’s not particularly loud; and it only runs “harder” when it’s working to eliminate pollutants from the air, which isn’t for very long in my experience.I have noticed a big difference in my sleep quality, as I don’t wake up with post-nasal drip as had been for so long and had just accepted. Thinking of buying a second one for my home office…Best purchase I’ve made in a long time. Yup, I’m officially a grown up.

In love!
Great product by Govee again! I have bought so many of their devices and have yet to find one I didn’t like or that didn’t perform as advertised. This air purifier works great with my Alexa and the app is super easy to use on my iPhone. Easy to control with the app and set schedules and such. Paired great with the hydrometer that’s also paired to my Govee Smart Humidifier. The color light to let you know the particulate matter in the air is great! You can create widgets on your phone as well and the sleep mode really is quiet! Easy to switch out the filters or to clean the pre-filter portion too. Sleek design but I do wish they made this model it in black to fit the “aesthetic” of the bedroom one is placed in. I have two of these and one smaller on in my house. I even bought one for my workplace’s office and it’s a hit there. I’m sleeping a better and my allergies elevated within a couple days and when I was sick sleeping was easier too. Govee fan for life.

Very Good Air Purifier
Works very well; has several fan speeds that it can be manually set to run at; changes fan speed automatically when set on "auto" (for example, when dusting or vacuuming in the room the air purifier is in, the fan speed automatically increases due to the increased particulates in the air until the air has cleared again, then it returns to a slower speed). It runs quietly when on low and does get louder on higher fan speeds. It has a sleep setting that is almost silent, and the light on the power button can be turned off with the sleep setting. The air intake is only on one side of the case, which technically is the back side, but I place it so it faces into the room instead of toward the wall because I think it works better this way. This air purifier has an app that can be downloaded to remotely control and monitor it, which some people may like, but I don't use the it. It has a 3 stage filter (a pre-filter for large particulates that you remove and rinse off or clean with a vacuum hose as needed, and a combined HEPA filter and charcoal filter to reduce odors that can't be cleaned, but does last quite a while unless you are using the unit in a really dirty or dusty area). The unit has an indicator light to let you know when it is time to replace the HEPA/charcoal filter. Overall, I think this air purifier has been a good investment for me to help reduce the allergens in my apartment. I purchased 2 of them, one for my living room area and one for my bedroom.

Works out of the box
I love that there was almost no set up for this purifier. Sometimes it gets complicated with the different filters, how to install them, which way does which side need to face, etc and I always inevitably do something incorrect. This was very intuitive and needed minimal set up before plugging it it and getting going. Pairs seamlessly with my Govee smart air monitor to ensure my entire space is being purified. Also works great with my Google Home so I can monitor everything while I am away. I love that I know this will keep up with cleaning as I do travel all the time. I also enjoy the sleek look but with they offered a version in black that matched the rest of my Govee products, but I won’t be that picky :)It is also very quiet, which I like because I don’t like much noise when I sleep but if it is too loud, there is a sleep mode that will run on a lower speed for less disruption, as needed.Good value for money. Very pleased. Only thing that would make it better would be Apple Home integration, which is why I will give this a 4, as I think that would round it out with more versatility as a “smart” device.

This works great and senses the air to adjust it's operation
This air purifier has worked great. I've had it a while and I keep it on low and the light stays green indicating the air is clean. It does change to yellow or red if the air quality goes down. I tested this when we have air quality alerts and I leave the windows or doors open, it senses this and adjust to higher operation. It's also neat to be able to change the LED at the bottom to different colors or 'scenes'.
