A learning experience while building, resulting in an impressive display piece when done
Impressive as a set. Contains many elements in the design that highlight the real world launch system, such as to-scale stairs, movable gantries and stabilizers, an internal components like the service model or the booster navigation and communications blocks. Huge instruction book, sprinkled with design facts about the actual Artemis and SLS systems, plus nods to other LEGO sets where some of the pieces originated from. (For example, one piece that looks rather specific to the rocket was actually designed as a beehive for a prior model.)

An incredible LEGO build
This LEGO set was an incredible build. 3/4 of the build was dedicated to the highly detailed launch tower and the rest to the rocket itself. The set was wonderfully packaged complete with it's 370 page detailed assemble manual. There were also quite a few self adhesive stickers which needed to be carefully added using tweezers for proper placement adding to the rockets authentic appearance. The detailed plumbing on the tower was accurate but I also added a few extra pieces I had to the 4 tips of the plumbing which added to their realistic appearance. Also added tower post lights to the top of the tower that actually exist of the real tower at the launch complex. The total build was 3615 pieces (including the 14 additional plumbing and top of tower light pieces added) from the original 3601 pieces that came with the Artemis Space Launch Towers build set (pictured). I would highly recommend this purchase as it was a very FUN project to build.

Bigger than you think
This set is an absolute blast to build. I love the details and the diffulty of the build. Matches up perfectly with the other space themed sets i have. Like the title says, it takes up a fair bit of space so make sure to double check you have somewhere that it will fit.

An excellent educational tool
The media could not be loaded. We bought this as a very early Christmas surprise gift for our Lego- and space-obsessed son. Boy, we haven’t heard him shriek in delight in a long time (he’s 16 years old 😉.) As you can see from the photos and video, it is very detailed. Our son built it in 6 hours and said it was easy to assemble. Plus, it is more than excellent value for money. My son wants to be a space engineer and he found the whole process of building this Lego model very educative. It’s also a great physical exercise for your fingers if you want to sharpen your fine motor skills.

Magnificent display piece.
It's a long and sometimes tedious build, specifically the launch tower. However, the finished model is quite impressive. Even more so when displayed alongside the Saturn V.

Missing parts
Missing the sticker sheet. So now the kiddo is on a delay for 8-12 days until Lego gets the sheet here
