Perfect chill at hall and room moveble
Jo bhi log ac aur cooler ke beech confuse hai uske liye ye review - one of best purchase decision of my life.Portable so in rented place no issue of fitting , slight noise than ac and not working as direct cooling but less power consume and make room cool at simple temperature. If you have no issue of fitting and long term ac best but in portable place with easy to move and give good comfert this cooler very good and after 10-15 day use it give very cool air flow.Thank you cropmton for this product.

Budget AC
This air-cooler can be filled up with 70 litres of water, has a ice tray, the 2 regulating knobs are "speed control" and "louver + water control"; the "speed control" knob starts with the fast, medium and slow settings; "the louver + water control" knob starts with water, water + louver, louver. The equipment comes with the absolutely necessary castor wheels needed to move this 14+70 kg beast across the floor.I bought this in May-2022 for ~₹9.5K, writing this review as of Aug-2022.The wet dog smell for the first few weeks is normal for the usage, it'll go away. This is due to the Honeycomb pads. I recommend pouring in a cap of lavender Dettol to mask that wet dog smell for a while. What all was good:• During the hot and humid season in Chennai, this equipment was able to reduce the temperature in the flow direction to 5°C lesser than the actual temperature of 35°C; (I was able to verify this using a industrial grade infrared thermometer).• The filled water lasts up to 2.5 days with normal usage as you use ceiling fan.• For best performance, I found that having it placed near open windows with a foot of space clearance around the equipment (if you are placing by a wall). Otherwise we are circulating the same-already humidified air to even more saturated air.• The castor wheels have a easy flip-lock, so that the beast doesn't move on its own while operating.• Dismantling the honeycomb pads for cleaning is easy with just hand-tight-able screws at the back.• The power consumption is almost the same as running a ceiling fan.• The Air throw and air delivery of this is very good for a large room or even the hall. What could have been better:• The 4 foot length power cable is the most annoying, it is too short to be practical, you have to buy a extension box (rated 16amps) to operate this thing in a room with just one socket far away.• The ice tray is useless, upon disassembly of this equipment I found out that the ice tray is just a drip line to the bottom water tank, this makes the ice tray not even worth the attempt putting the ice cubes in. If the ice tray were to drip over the honeycomb pads that would make it worthwhile.• Noise: Yeah, it's loud! I mean it would take some time to get adjusted to the noise it makes. My measurements are as follows: Slow=80dB, Medium=83dB, Fast=85dB; Slow+Water+Louver=82dB, Medium+Water+Louver=84dB, High+Water+Louver=86dB. For fiducial comparison, your ceiling fan would generate around 55dB on full speed. Get ready to sleep in a rain forest with that water dripping sound :D• I never used the auto-fill feature, can't say much about it, although it seems to have a float valve to cut off the water when there is enough level, I think this can fail and go pretty bad in a household environment.• On receiving first, always verify if the motor and water pump work, the pump particularly didn't work for 2 of my first purchases, the only last one I bought worked. We shouldn't buy an air cooler with a defective pump, then that is just a glorified table fan.Comparing to the noise, maintenance and power, if you do have money to spend on an actual AC (Air Conditioner) go for it, these days the AC doesn't even consume that much power; If AC feels like a costly investment, I recommend this budget AC (Air Cooler).Update: This is 11-Apr-2024 I see some screws rust inside, some salt sediments due to the water quality available to me... But overall it is still working well... no issues.

Workhorse. Leave it on for days, and it keeps running.
It is a proper workhorse. I have been using it for little over three years. I thought I wrote a review earlier, but since I haven't and I am going to buy a second one, I thought I should. What you need to know:1. It is pretty rugged - except that water filling flip cap - that broke - well, I did let a 20-litre water bubble slip from my hand and it landed on the flap, but it broke nonetheless.2. You can leave it on and forget about it, except for filling up the tank - if you are able to connect a hose behind, perfect - you don't need to bother about that either.3. The water inlet pipe is weird - i wish they gave it a normal half inch thread so normal pipes can screw in - but no. That's a bother. Well, it's a nice little exercise carrying 5-litre bottles and pouring them in. It's 75 litres, so it will take a few trips (more than 15 although math would say it's 15 times 5 litres)4. The little plug at the bottom is a pain if you lose it. I'd find a way to tie a thread to it and fasten it to the cooler body. I misplaced it a few times and it was absolute hell trying to find it - it's minuscule and white.5. It'll happily run on an inverter, being just 190 watts.6. Use it at low speed for better cooling. The ice chamber is too small to be of any use.7. The wire is surprisingly short for a cooler of its size. If I were able to, I would put a 3 to 5 metre wire for good measure.8. The casters are not exactly great, but they're not "designed" for moving the cooler with the tank full - that's stupid if you ask me, but then again. The locking system is also pretty flimsy - it broke within the first year and a half - no complaints, really, but it's a point to note. There really isn't any replacement that will actually fit the screws - you may have to take them out and fabricate a stand with proper 4" casters.9. It is heavy - weighs little over 15 kilos empty, and 90+ when full. IT IS NOT EASY TO MOVE!10. If you use tap water, you'll find the typical musty swamp smell after a few days of use. Don't bother with anything fancy - dump some floor cleaner concentrate in it. That usually takes care of it. Also, you will need to add a descaler once in a while. Ideally, empty the water, pour some Harpic onto the bottom and brush the dirt and grime, rinse a few times, and then fill it half, add descaler, and let the pump run for a few hours, drain it, and rinse again before using. Doing this will prevent the little holes that deliver the water to the different regions of the wet pads from clogging up - if they do, it's a pain to clean them even with a descaler.
