Not as advertised, avoid water
My daughter absolutely loved this, to the point where the batteries ran out after a day!! Replaced batteries and it stopped working again very quickly but because the batteries had actually corroded. The waterproof seal is not fit for purpose and I am shocked this got through quality testing! When I came to write this review I spotted there are other reviewers that have had the same problem. Hugely disappointing as it was a fun toy and my daughter really loved the little character.

Best present for daughter
This was hands down the best present from santa for my 6 year old daughter. She adores it and it does indeed swim when in water. It also makes adorable noises when you stroke it so it acts like a little pet. A must have for any young fan of these creatures or other aquatic animals
