McFarlane ToysDC Multiverse Batman (Batman Forever) 7in Build-A Figure

Maybe the most articulated Batman that McFarlane has released. Still has a bit too much width in the diaper which limits forward leg movement, as it kind of wants to push the legs back into place. It’s such a simple thing to fix, but I really don’t want to alter this one. McFarlane can easily address this issue. It’s not a huge deal as it’s still dynamic. For some reason the torso and the legs both have great range. The cape is perfect. It doesnt billow or bunch up because it’s sleek and not too wide. It just drapes down and doesn’t get in the way. If they’d added a wire to the cape it would’ve been too bulky and cumbersome to mess around with. There is one other slight negative, the accuracy is off. I understand that they had to differentiate this one from the 4 pack version, so they made his boots and gloves black, but it doesn’t look bad. The likeness to Kilmer is lifelike, I don’t see how it could be better. This is definitely one of my favorites since the start of Multiverse.

This Batman figure is amazing. It represents the Kenner style of the Batman Forever Sonar suit.

Maybe it’s because I grew up on these films but this might be my new favorite Batman figure. Even if you didn’t grow up on these films this batman is possible, comes with great accessories and looks great. He’s not as clicky and has a fuller leg range of motion than some McFarland figures I’ve had. Overall awesome

This guys looks AMAZING. He is donning his sonar suit from the final act in Batman Forever. The shiny, metallic paint really makes him stand out. And he looks like Val Kilmer! Fantastic likeness and detail. My only complaint and reason for taking away two stars is the hands do not feel secure when you swap them out. I haven’t collected this line of action figures in a while but they seem to have changed the design of how hands and fists pop on/off, I assume because they often would break. However this new design feels flimsy, like his fists are going to fall off if I don’t have them properly posed. This really knocks the value for money down for me. It’s unfortunate because he is a really cool looking figure! He still will look good in a display but for play or toy photography I would see the loose hang thing as a big issue.

Awesome this Batman- Batman Forever wave.This is a great opportunity to get this Batman that came in the Batman Movie 6 pack, only the deco is a little different but the figure is awesome, great articulation, and the cloth cape is perfect to put Batman in his Batmobile.
