LICKGUARD 2 Pack Ointment for Dogs and Cats

If your dog has hot spots, this might be something to try. I will say that it works like a charm for our VERY hot spot prone Golden Retriever. We have gone through three tubes in the last two years and no harmful effects---but it stops licking so the hotspots can heal. Now, we shave the hair around them, use a topical antibiotic, and keep them clean. All great-but if the dog licks then more hair gets wet and matter around them and the cycle continues. I hate to recommend pseudomedical products but our dog's doc recommended this, a friend also uses this product for her Golden's. and it has been the saving grace for our dog.
