This is a review of Pranarom - Aromaboost Sleep Herbal Supplement - Promotes Quality Sleep, Rapid Sleep - Valerian Extract, Vitamins B3, B6 & D3, Essential Oils - 60 Count.I ordered this on Jan 14, 2025 and received it on Jan 16, 2025 (though it was initially scheduled for delivery on the 15th.I have a long history of waking up unrested. I’m a very light sleeper, and thus I am unable to sleep through the night without my partner, my cat, my dog, or some other noise outside waking me up at some point. I honestly feel more alert when I wake up 3-5 hours after falling asleep, than I do with more. Nonetheless, I feel like it’s been ingrained in me to try and get 7 hours or more. So, when I wake up and see that I haven’t slept long enough, I stay in bed and sleep some more. But then when I wake up later, I’m exhausted, and could continue to stay in bed all day. I’ve tried several over the counter remedies, as well as prescription medications. But I haven’t tried something like Pranarom before.“Aromaboost SLEEP is formulated with a proprietary blend of plant extracts including Valerian, Vitamins B3, B6, D3, and boosted by the pure and integral Essential Oils of Noble Chamomile, True Lavender and Mandarin Essence, creating a powerful synergy to support relaxation and maintain optimal sleep.”I had a long day Jan 16th. I woke up around 07:45 and didn’t get home from work till around 04:00 the next day. So, I figured it might be a good night to try Pranarom’s Aromaboost Sleep. I took it at 04:23, and by 05:20 I was ready to go to bed. I slept until my dog woke me around 09:30, and then fell back asleep and stayed in bed till noon.I feel like I slept better than I usually do, but I also had such a long day, that the exhaustion might have helped with that. I do feel like it helped me feel tired, because I was still wired when I got home.I gave one to my partner last night, and he passed out relatively soon after taking it. But that isn’t uncommon for him. I think it might have made him sleep deeper though, because he was snoring like crazy no matter how much I tried to reposition him. Of course, that meant I didn’t sleep as well- haha.So, we are both going to keep taking it, and see how it works. He is working nights this week and I’m working days, so we won’t wake each other and should be able to tell better how it affects us.If I notice any issues, I will come back and update this review, but if you don’t see an update, it means it’s working great!Other notes:- it smells great! It’s very lavender scented. If I didn’t have pets, I would want an oil that smelled like this to diffuse throughout my house (essential oils - including lavender- are not good for pets).- I only took 1 capsule rather than two because I always wanted to check for reactions. I didn’t have any reactions, but I will continue to take 1 for a bit.- I am slightly concerned about the chamomile in here, because chamomile can affect hormones such as estrogen and thus affect birth control. So, just something to be aware of it you take any supplements, check their reactions to other supplements and to medications you may be taking.- I appreciate the companies transparency of where it’s made and for whom. This is made in Belgium and distributed by their US branch in Minnesota.The one negative I’ve noticed, is that although the lot # is printed on the bottle’s label, it is partially worn off. The expiration date is still there, and it says 12/2028, which is great! I’d have almost 4 years to use this if I hadn’t opened it, which is longer than most supplements.Overall, I think this is a well made product with high quality ingredients. Whether it works for me, may not correlate to how it works for you. Our bodies are all different. But, I hope my written review and photos help you decide whether this is the right product for you.
