Q: Would this product darken the leather? l have a very bright blue leather bag and would love to protect it but wouldnt wanna compromise its color

Personally i have used this product on my Chanel bags which have been black , gray and red . When wet I would notice slightly darker color , but after it dries I see no color difference. I lightly spayed because of the same feeling of color change, but so far so good ! I’ve also used on my silver sandals and there was no color change at all. I bought to protect the leather from color transfer, rain and dirt . Good luck 👍

Dear customer, Collonil Carbon Pro can be used as a waterproofer for all kinds of material, so it works on textiles, too. Just spray the bag evenly and thinly from a distance of at least 30 cm and let dry carefully.
