Whats the differences between voodoo and elite

I have the dove voodoo and a teal elite and they changed the battery housing on the elites, makes it easier to change the batteries.... but the batteries last around 16 hours in the voodoo and for me that is more than 4 hunts. They also changed the body from mounded to a skin.... I don’t think the doves would be able to tell the difference. The voodoo is great. Doves go right for it. The elites are supposed to have better motors, make less noise, but the voodoos don’t make enough noise to scare off doves. Since I don’t set up the dove decoys over the water like the duck decoy, the benefits of the body and battery housing are not enough to go buy elites. I am happy with the voodoos for doves. For ducks, the elite is nice.

Yes, AA. And they come with a second battery case so you can load it and not be caught in the field with dead batteries. I just bought mine this year and will not hunt without them again. They don't just pull the doves in everytime but if a passing group is interested in water, or grit, or seed and sees the decoys they come right to them.
