Each bag is 14 ounces. For a 60 pound doggy, instructions suggest 24 nuggets. I weighed 4 nuggets (just for you 😃), which is 1 ounce... 4 x 6 = 24 nuggets which total 6 ounces. You’ll get two meals =12 ounces) and have approximately 8 nuggets left. I hope my math is correct. Your first bag will last a bit longer since it is suggested to transition your pet.

All primal foods dont have any fat its more protein...i feed my two gurlz primal frozen nuggets they love the taste better

can be use as a topper?

You can definitely use this as a topper. You can either rehydrate it with water, or goats milk, or even bone broth, or you can give it without rehydrating it. You can feed the whole disc at once or break it up. If you want to rehydrate them, let it sit in the liquid for about 12 minutes. It’s better to mash it up every 3-4 minutes as it’s rehydrating. Once it’s been soaking for about 12 minutes it is ready to serve. Note, depending on how much water, goats milk or bone broth you use depends on its consistency at the end. My dog goes Gaga for just the bar, so I let her have it in its freeze-dried form. Sometimes I hide it in her food and she digs for it to eat it the very first. I still rehydrate it from time to time but it’s just not as fun for her. Ya’ gotta find the joy in the little things in life, ya’ know?
