Great value, awesome DA
Super happy I bought this. It’s a bit hefty, yes. After getting used to it though it’s actually nice to have the extra weight. This thing is very powerful. I haven’t ran it at full speed but I can imagine it’s pretty intense.Lastly, I wasn’t expecting to get so many accessories and stuff. The picture doesn’t do it justice. The bag they give you barely has room for all the accessories they also give you. Fantastic deal. Will be buying another SPTA when I need a 6 inch DA.

Excellent machine
This is a GREAT value for a DA polisher. I have a Griots G9 6” DA and love it. Was going to buy Griots G8 3” DA to pair up with the larger unit. You really need both sizes to be able to get the smaller panel sections around the car. This SPTA compares well with the Griots, even better on more power and larger Orbital path. Has soft start and locking on switch. Maybe not as sexy as the griots but at literally half the price it’s a no brainer. Only issue I have is with the lock/start button, which for my hand is difficult to operate

Good Value quasi-clone
This item is a clone of a 12mm long throw DA polisher by Rupes, but with a 10mm throw instead. I would imagine they're all built in the same factory overseas and rebranded by various distributors. It's heavy and well built with a powerful motor. I think it has a throw somewhere between 8-10mm, as I've seen different specs listed for this type of tool on the internet and packaging, but this is still a good size stroke for a small DA tool, but falls short of the actual Rupes, which is a true 12mm long throw that will correct defects faster. I've put a few hours on this unit and it's worked great, corrects well and finishes well. IMO having a small tool like this is very needed for doing edge-work, corners, concave/complex curves and tight areas. Foam pads included are actually quite good. I think it will hold up well.. Excellent value, given the MSRP of the tool it was designed to replicate. SPTA is becoming more of known brand out of China making good product for great prices. Overall quite happy and saved some major coin over the "real deal". Perfect for an enthusiast, but if you're a pro, I'd opt for the real thing (LHR 75e) for longevity and warranty work/support. I run this on speed 6 (max) when compounding to account for the fact that it has a shorter throw, but it cuts very well with course foam pads. I use speed 4 or 5 for finishing. It's loud, so use ear protection.

Is a knock off of the Rupes Bigfoot Mini D/A, works just as well and is a lot less expensive!
This D/A is a knock off of the Rupes Bigfoot Mini D/A polisher, works just as well and is a lot less expensive! I really like the big cushion backing plate it comes with, reduces vibration and makes cutting/polishing uneven surfaces easier.

Tight on/off switch
A little heavier than expected but easily manageable. The on/off switch is terrible. Hard to push.

Nice Tool
Nice little kit with many accessories. I have a Ford F250 that has the pesky scratches on the B pillars. My first time ever buffing anything, I used the softest pad with Sonax Perfect Finish and they came out great! I’m a beginner was very cautious not to make matters worse. But they look good. Took us a little heavy, but it works well. Would buy again for occasional buffing duties.

This is an amazing piece of equipment.
The media could not be loaded. For hard reach places where your big buffer won't get to. But all the power you could possibly need. I love it. I've been painting cars for 35 years this is a $500 piece of equipment that you can get for a 150 bucks. A must have for any professional automotive painter. Thank you SPTA

Polisher
I ordered this for my nephew for Christmas. He picked it out. It's heavy duty. The quality seems good. The size is not to large. Great functionality to limit swirl in your paint
