Awesome product! Would recommend!
The media could not be loaded. Well after seeing a mixed bag of reviews on this product I decided to plump for it and give it a go. Admittedly I do think it’s slightly over priced considering it’s just a thermostat connected to a set of CPU fans. But realistically it’s the ease of operation, installation and built that warrants the price.I ordered the biggest slim bottom mounted fan for my front room. I have a sofa pushed up against it so normally the air flow around it was little to non and so the heat output was awful. After installing this little bad boy it was awesome! My room used to take around 2 hours to heat to 22c however now only takes 32 minutes! I love the way I can also just leave it plugged in 247 and it will only turn itself on once it detects the radiator warming up.I don’t think this unit is loud however my video may sound like it is because I lent it on the grille!

Worth a try..
Works well and easy to set up, increased temperature by about 2°c . So yeah, I think they're worth a try.

Average function. :(
Hmmmmm , read the reviews , some + , some -decided to give it a punt , to help a room with a radiator stuck behind a sofa. It does distribute some warm air but it takes an age for it to kick in.The radiator was roasting hot the other day but fans still hadnt kicked in.I paid £69.99 for the medium (4 fans) , which when you see what you actually get for your money is a bit overpriced.I could have picked parts up and built myself for less than half that.If i had payed around £40 i wouldve given 3.5 stars.

Buy this now!!!
This is my second Radfan. We wanted a second unit to put in our bedroom as the one in the living room does an awesome job. This time I went for the slim model as I didn't want direct heat aimed at our bed. This works perfectly in the living room as the heat is directed towards my wife. She likes to hear the fans kick in as she knows that she will feel the benefit of the heat soon. it's a psychological bonus, however an important one.Being mounted at the base of the radiator has the benefit of allowing us to place towels on the radiator to warm before showering. You can't do that with the standard modelVery easy to install. the magnets hold it firmly in place.Don't delay. Buy this today

Tiny low powered fans make no discernible difference.
We have 3 long low level radiators in a conservatory below the windows, but behind radiator grilles which have large open vents top and bottom to allow the flow of air. We don't get sufficient convection so I bought one of these to increase the flow, but the fans are so weak that you cannot tell the difference between normal air convection and fan-assisted. Will be returning. I had hoped it would be similar output to a plinth heater we use in the kitchen, but it isn't. The only good bit is they take less than a minute to clip on.

great item really works well
great item really works well and does let you get more heat from your rads and its so easy to fit and set up and you really cant hear the fans when its on, this has saved me getting the rads moved as i had my settee in front of my rad and i wasn't get a lot of heat in my living room from it but now you can feel the difference,

Could not get it to work?
This device is a smart simple idea to improve the convection of air by the radiator, if you can get it to work? I tried every radiator in my home, and even placed it the wrong way up on top of the radiator to get it to switch on. No luck and had to go online to the troubleshooting web site for the product. (There’s a good clue!) The site stated that the radiator has to be uncomfortable to touch for at least 5 seconds to get enough heat to trigger the fan to start. I don’t get that as this would make the radiator dangerous for small children to be near. None of the radiators in my home get that hot, even on start up as we have the room thermostat set at 20 degrees and the boiler switches off before the radiators get that hot due to good home insulation. It seems a shame that the makers cannot alter the fan start up to a lower (safer) temperature as the fan would still warm the room quicker. Better still would be an adjustable switch, similar to a PIR security light which allows you to set the time duration and operating time for the light. I am sure this would be an easy fit to this device as the Tec already exists and would give the customer more control over the function time. I am disappointed with this as it is such a good idea and could be even better with a little more thought. Still Amazon has accepted the return and given a refund. If this product is upgraded I would buy it again as the basic idea is great.

Too Noisy ,,too slack ,,
Very easy to fit , but I found that the unit tended to slip down as though magnets were not strong enough, also the fan noise can be intrusive in the background so I fitted it somewhere else than it’s intended lounge radiator , other than that it works just as it should and does make a difference ,, pity about the noise as we would buy more
