Kiss My Face Whenever Shampoo, Green Tea & Lime, Value Size, 32 Ounce

We use this shampoo and conditioner for the whole family. It smells heavenly, and does a fine job of cleaning. It is a great value!Here's a few things I've figured out:1. It lathers best if your hair is super saturated with water. My kids (who have much less hair than I do) get a ton of lather - as much as a chemical shampoo. I have about 24" length hair, combo wavy/straight, and pretty dry hair. I don't get the lather that my kids do, however, my hair is clean.I get way more lather from this shampoo than Acure (which gives me none, and I feel like I have to use half the bottle just to get my hair clean)2. For my hair, I use this conditioner, plus I add in another brand. For my kids, I just use the KMF conditioner, and it works just fine for them.3. Before I wash my hair, I slather coconut oil all over my dry hair. Sometimes, I go straight to the shower, other times, I may wrap it up and do some chores or so first. This really helps to hydrate and smooth my hair, and this shampoo has no problem getting the oil out.

I've used the Kiss My Face products before, but, when I saw the 'value size' and the price, I grabbed it.Then I read some of the reviews. Dries hair? I was very anxious because I color my hair because of the white (not grey!) growing in. The color process that I use is excellent, bought here on Amazon. It left my hair soft and silky, much better than a box color.However, I was terrified of using this shampoo. I finally took the jump, and my hair is clean, soft, silky, thick, curly, manageable. It's still a bit frizzy, which comes naturally with curly hair, but it's always had a tendency to be frizzy. I use a small bit of coconut oil and smooth it over my hair. No more frizzies.As to the need to use more because it doesn't lather, it's not supposed to lather like other shampoos. The main ingredient that makes shampoo lather is sodium laurel sulfate, which is very drying, and it's almost impossible to get all the 'bubbles' rinsed from your hair. I don't pump the shampoo into my hands; rather, I pump it directly on my scalp - a small one of each side, two for the top, three for the back. I've found this is a much better way to get the shampoo to the scalp, where you need it. I work that into my scalp, and I can feel the shampoo in my hair. If you massage your scalp when you hair is went, it feels much differently than when you massage the shampoo into your scalp. The shampoo will dissipate rather quickly, but it thoroughly cleans your entire hair.Everyone has different hair, and what works for one, may not work for someone else. I tried a When shampoo, and it was awful for my hair.Any questions, feel free to ask.

A lot of sulfate free shampoo tend to leave my hair feeling greasy but this is not the case with this shampoo. My hair feels very silky and clean. It also smells pretty great, but the scent is subtle. I would recommend using a nice thick conditioner with it.Many people have complained about the lather of this product but that is a problem with any sulfate free shampoo. What works for me is making sure that my hair is soaking wet, not damp, when I apply the shampoo. I have thick and long hair so I will do a pre-wash with one pump of shampoo, lightly rinse, and then add another 2 pumps and re-lather. This really helps get a nice lather without having to use a ton of shampoo.UPDATE:I have finished this bottle, finally! I still love it and I received my second bottle through Amazon Subscribe & Save. I RARELY immediately re-purchase a product but Kiss My Face Whenever Shampoo is awesome! I love it and my hair loves it too. I could see myself sicking with it for quite some time. :)

Recently I started using only natural cosmetic products, after learning about how harmful harsh chemicals found in most beauty products can be. This is a great all-natural shampoo, filled with earthly ingredients that I can pronounce. I have thin hair but a lot of it, as well as oily skin, so my hair gets weighed down and oily pretty easily. I'm happy to say that this cleans my hair very well and does not weigh my hair down one bit. As others have said, it smells like lime jello, which isn't my favorite scent but it does smell good. I can't smell it on my hair during the day at all, so don't let the smell deter you from this shampoo. The only real "con" about this, which isn't much, is that I NEED to use a conditioner with this, because if I don't my hair ends up very, very tangled: that is partially the nature of my hair anyway, though. I use Nature's Gate Organics Mandarin Orange and Patchouli conditioner with it and my hair always looks clean, feels soft, and has as much volume as I could expect. 32 ounces at this price is a great deal, especially for a product as natural as this. I think it will last me a long time!

I LOVE this shampoo! It avoids nasty chemical ingredients found in many other shampoos, and is light yet cleans well. Does not leave residue. We've even used this as soap and face wash in a pinch. The scent is light and fresh and pleasant. I have broken out from other shampoos, but love that I can use this one with no problem. The size is large so you get a great deal for the amount of product you get. My hair is straight, color treated (with "natural" dyes), and very long (down to my hips). I get comments on my hair all the time. I use this shampoo daily and it keeps my hair clean and fresh and does not dry my hair out. HIGHLY recommended!
