One can however save a lot of money on shipping soccer balls fully deflated as you can fit many more of them in a fixed volume. I do suspect one would need to reduce the price in that case to remain competitive, probably more than the extra cost of shipping.

It is an excellent ball for a 3-4 year old, but I believe it is too HARD for a 7 month old. It is as hard as a basketball. I see lots of bumped nose and crying. However, you know your child best. But if it were me, I would be a smaller softer ball until the child is older.

I got size 4 for my 9yr old. but size 5 is for 12 and up.
