OXO Good Grips 9-Inch Tongs with Silicone Heads, Black

I use this when cooking on my cast iron cookware since it won't scratch the surface. Perfect for high heat and it doesn't scratch. It is nice that the claws are solid metal with a siliconized coating. A lot of other tongs have just a metal stud with a silicone mold on the end that always gets floppy and doesn't work well. I have no complaints about this

Those are one of the best tongs I'ver bought. They are very good and hopefully, they will last for a long time. The tips are very good at gripping, unlike their cheapo copycats.

I love these tongs. I bought one a few years ago and have used it almost daily since. They are great. I bought a second one for the motor home. They work well; do not respond to reasonable heat and, when the lock feature is engaged, they fit easily into a drawer. Definitely worth the extra money.

It's a nice pair of tongs

These are excellent tongs. The lock is sturdy, but easy to release. The silicone grips and tips are thick. It's easy to clean and seems durable. However, don't get them near heat. I attempted to use these on a gas grill and touching the grates caused the silicone to melt. Stick to using them in the kitchen to remove objects from pots and pans that are not very hot.

I have bought many silicone heads tongs from all kinds of places before and settled on these as the best. I have had several Williams Sonoma ones that have a mechanism for opening and closing the tongs with one hand which I enjoyed but they fall apart in 2 - 3 months and Williams Sonoma have turned their lifetime guarantee to 1 month. I got tired to spending $30 for a pair of tongs that does not hold up. Other silicone tongs from Amazon are hit and miss, sometimes the heads don't match, sometimes they feel flimsy. These OXO ones are very sturdy, well made, and holds up like a Rolls Royce. I already ordered a few more pairs so I have plenty for different dishes per meal.

Study

I got this for using in my air fryer because of the silicon covered tips. It's easy on the non-stick coating and cleans up very easy. I like the locking feature, because it stays closed and cuts down on drawer space and doesn't tangle up with the other items in the drawer.

Bought these for our new air fryer that has a nonstick coating. Helps prevent scratches and protects the coating. Work great. I always buy oxo products as I find them to be the best quality
