This turbine blower really puts out a lot of air. I’ve been told I’m an expert at lots of hot air.
Its battery powered so it’s light, powerful, easy to handle, no pull starter, no bad gas to clog the carburetor and then having to replace it and adding another week to my chores list, no leaky gas can in the garage dripping on my clean-ish floor. Not only that, in the winter, I can pop in my double-sized batteries from my WORX electric lawnmower and really make some progress. I even used it to blow snow off my sidewalk (it worked well with loose snow) and driveway (only could get the top layers of loose snow). But that was a help in the overall snow clearing.I guess the surprise to me is how much better battery perforance has become for outdoor equipment. As I get older, handling heavy equipment- even some sitting models- is tough. This blower puts out more air than even me and is lighter and more efficient.

Great addition to my Worx Trimmer
I have used a Worx Trimmer/Edger for about a decade. That product has served me well cutting through all kinds of weeds and grass over the years. I have a corded type electric leaf blower that I don't enjoy using because I don't like getting the extension cable out just for that. I figured I'd see what Worx has that would operate with the same batteries and found this. It works great. It's plenty powerful enough for blowing grass off my sidewalk. It's much lighter than my other blower and much easier to grab and go when needed.Battery power isn't going to last forever obviously, but it lasts long enough to get the job done unless you are trying blow leaves off your entire yard.Since I've owned a Worx Trimmer, I can speak to battery working time. With a good battery that is fully charged, I can easily edge and trim around my 5,000 square foot yard on one battery. I have had to replace batteries recently because they get old over time like all batteries do. Replacement batteries for Worx are reasonable and seem to be supported for a while since my trimmer is about a decade old and I can still find batteries for it and new equipment is sold with compatible batteries. If you are really worried about how long batteries last for lawn equipment, invest in higher voltage equipment. Commercial level equipment would be more like 40v or 60v equipment. If you need something to blow the grass off your sidewalk after you mow, a 20v leaf blower like this will have plenty of battery power for you.

Easy to handle on ladder
This blower is very lightweight and easy to use while standing on a ladder to blow leaves off roof. It has a very powerful air stream on high speed, and adequate capacity on low. My biggest complaint is that the 2.0 Ah battery only lasts about 20 minutes while on high speed. This is a little frustrating when working on a roof and needing to anticipate when it will cut off. I'm thinking of purchasing another battery to minimize the inconvenience.

WORX 40-volt system
WORX 40-volt system (20v x 2) is convenient, powerful and get the job done. Learn to use it at a moderate speed and it keeps running like the Eveready bunny. I also purchased the lawn trimmer and recommend the 40-volt system for it also.Life is a lot easier when you don't have to mix two-stroke fuel and tackle a pull start rope? The WORX batteries are interchangeable so you always have charged spares. The 20 volt batteries can be used individually for other handheld power tools (drill motor, portable air pump, etc).

great machine
This is a powerful machine. I seem to have a bit of a glitch in the connection to the battery, but if I hold it just right then it works full power. I love this machine. Saved me hours of raking this year! I am a 66 yr old woman, and not very strong, but I was able to run this machine for 40 minutes of battery time. I highly recommend this machine.

Blows out cobwebs and wasp nests for a distance.
Have several other piece of power tools of this brand which I have been happy with over the years so I decided to by a leaf blower too. The batteries are interchangeable so I can use it for an extended period of time and the blower is quite powerful. I use it for blowing light snow off the driveway, blow the dust and cobweb out in my garage. Very happy with the quality and value for the money I spent.

Moldy with spiderwebs
Started assembly on the item about an hour after I received it and found the entire motor piece covered in mold and with webs on both intake and outtake ends (not sure if that'll show in the pics). The 2 pieces of the blow tube were fine, as was the charger and battery. I decided to return it, obviously, because who knows what electrical components could have been damaged by the damp conditions it was clearly stored in for who knows how long. I reordered, assuming this was a fluke, but when the second item arrived it too had mold, albeit to a lesser degree. I decided to risk wiping it down and using it to see if I even like the item. Thus far it is working fine and I do enjoy how light weight it is and that it is cordless compared to my last leaf blower. I just don't understand why someone would box up moldy merchandise, along with the other items being clean, because this definitely happened before either item went in the box. Also, fyi, look at the motor before you assemble the blow tube, because you cannot take the blow tube apart (at least I couldn't) once you lock the pieces together. If you need to return it, that makes the return more challenging.Update: After using the blower for a couple of months, I do like it and it's working fine (despite the mold), except that the charge on the battery does not last long. I get maybe 3 days use with just blowing leaves off my patio and driveway (2-10m/day) before I have to recharge. They should have made the battery larger. There is no way this is going to last trying to blow a thick layer of fall leaves from two large maples off my yard every week for several weeks. I will have to recharge multiple times in a day to complete the job.
