Tailors Chalk Sewing Tailor's Fabric Marker Chalk for Quilting,Sewing Supplies Accessories (10Pcs)

I needed a sewing chalk that actually works and where I don't have to press very hard onto the fabric, so I purchased this product mainly because of the various colors and nifty container they come in. The first one I took out broke in half. Not a big issue. I tried the chalk on a piece of fabric and was truly amazed that I didn't have to apply pressure very much. The past two different types of sewing chalks I've purchased in the past were duds and didn't show on fabric, but this product is perfect on fabric! The only two cons I have are: container is a little tricky to figure out how to open and easily breaks.

I bought the white version of this chalk to make it easier to see layout marks on some blue marine canvas for my boat cover. I did not know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Only one of the pieces was broken when I got it but that wasn't really a problem as it broke into 2 usable pieces. The chalk is fairly fragile so it does need to be handled carefully. The advantage of this type of chalk is that it makes thin chalk lines continuously unlike chalkboard chalk that leaves very fat lines. This helps greatly with accuracy while sewing large projects. The marks come off easily so this chalk works best for temporary markings. After using this stuff I am hooked!If you are looking for a layout marking solution especially for darker fabrics I would highly recommend this product!

They are nice and come in a nice case. They are on the thin side and I thought they would be a little thicker and therefore a little more resistant to breakage. I'm giving it a four because they break very easily.

So, when I opened this, I didn't expect it to be so soft and easy to use. Like I tried it on one of my lighter fabrics just because it's like a satiny texture and it traced really well. I was afraid that one of them would end up broken like in other reviews but nope, all mine arrived safely! I also like that there's different colors because sometimes i need to mark different pieces I need to put together with different colors. I haven't cleaned it yet, mostly because I'm not quite finished with what I'm making but the excess comes off really well.tl;dr: it's super easy to use, super soft (which is good if you're autistic bc this is sensory heaven to me), and it works so well like I'm actually kinda floored. 100/10

I really didn't anticipate using this product much when I bought it. But to my surprise I reach for it all the time now. I have found that using the chalk is so easy and the marks brush or wash away when the job is completed. The price was nice and the little case is a jewel to store them in. Will purchase again.

Nice to have a variety of colors in a case. Unfortunately the case needs a rubberband to keep it closed and the chalk triangles are Very thin. Thin is great for detail markings - my use is general sewing so they get used up quicker. They make a strong steady line and work well. They are thin so they break easily, the end ones were broken on arrival.Still, it's nice to have a variety of colors in a convenience case.

Works as described. I have used it sporadically and only the blue color at this time. I discovered a different method for tracing and have gone that route. This chalk is a good alternative.

This chalk does not always disappear with water. My fabric was 100% cotton. I would not recommend you use this as it could ruin your project. It also very thin and breaks easily.
