This did exactly what I bought them to do, replace my old eye glass end tips. I needed them for my black and pink pairs shown, as well as my husband’s gray pair (all end were chewed by our puppy). The plastic was easier than I expected to remove, I thought I’d have to warm or boil the ends to get them off. The black ends (which I assumed would be the worst) slid off with my hands, for the pink ends I cut the hard plastic into pieces with wire cutters (for jewelry making) and then pulled them off with pliers (likely could have removed with pliers and skipped the timely segmenting I did. The black pair for perfectly, the pink pair turned out to have abnormally long ends so I simply trimmed the thin wire arm tips with aforementioned wire cutters (you can see what the temporarily “naked” arm tip looks like in the first picture). Two clips and they fit perfectly. I could have, instead, punctured a hole in the center of the tip of the pink silicone (coming in from the open end of the tube) which would have looked extra clean but no one sees that part any way and I don’t think you can tell one way or the other, so why do more work? Not only did I save myself a lot of money instead of replacing our less than year old glasses (bought offline but requiring prisms makes the $7 glasses $30 at least and these cost more) I found two more added perks. One, the silicone is softer than the hard plastic and help prevent slipping and two, it’s easier to adjust the ends of the glasses arms to fit comfortably but still stable around my ears. If you are REPLACING the tips of your wire eyeglass arms than this is an amazing deal and VERY easy project (really it took just one minute start to finish). If you’re looking to simply cover your old end tips THESE WILL NOT WORK! The entry hole and diameter of the tube is simply too narrow! But it’s narrow on purpose, so it stays put on that thin wire arm you see, it’s not meant to be used as a cover. I never review but these truly don’t deserve the low ratings when people simply don’t understand what they are buying and either don’t want to remove the old end tips or don’t know how. For less than $10 I save $150 worth of eye glasses (also the colors happened to work perfectly and leave me clear and brown for any other dog napped lenses). Buy as an educated consumer and you will be a happy customer!

Do not fit on my glasses.

I would like to note and clear up some things: These are REPLACEMENTS for your glass's earpiece ends/ear hooks. They are not covers meant to go over existing earpiece ends/ear hooks to give you a cushion feel.They are for glasses with metal rods or the ones that flatten out a bit with attached ear hook pieces. You are to remove the ones on your glasses and replace them with these.Most reviews that claim they don't fit are trying to fit them over existing handles. That is not how these work. Others are trying to fit them over one-piece plastic handles and again that's not what these are designed for.My glasses came with hard plastic ear hook ends and they always hurt or rubbed the back of my ears the wrong way, causing irritation. The one on the right side also started to crack at the base and that catching on the skin was painful. In the end, I had to just remove them both with pliers and deal with the raw metal for a bit.So these silicone REPLACEMENTS are a godsend. These slipped right on with no trouble and fit on nice and tight, there's not been any risk sense I got them of taking off my glasses and leaving one or both of these behind.They are really comfortable and I do plan when I get my next set of glasses to get the kind with the metal rod's for the arms and replace the ends they give with these.

This is for glasses which needs to be in pairs. It came with only one Grey end and that's the color she wants to use because of her hair color. Useless unless you get it in pairs.

The glasses I bought these for are from Zenni and have metal ends that dig into the side of my head, giving me headaches and skin irritation. I bought these to cover the metal and make my glasses more comfortable. Unfortunately, the ends of my glasses are a little too wide for these to slide on easily, therefore they don’t fit. I was able to MacGyver a temporary solution by cutting the ends. The size issue isn’t a product problem, but while I was attempting to get these to fit the silicone kept ripping quite easily. The silicone is very thin and of poor quality. In addition, the caps don’t extend all the way to the end. What I mean is I had to create a hole in the widest part to pull the end of my glasses into the cap all the way to the tip. Why would the sleeve not extend for the entire length? What is the point of that? Those things contribute to my two star rating.
