Easy and worth the money
This really is a great car seat base. It's really easy to install and I love that it has the built in level to ensure that it is at the right angle and safe. The car seat literally just clicks in and clicks out. Super simple, I love it. My fiance and I bought two of these so we could each have one in our cars. This is a must have! Well worth the money!

It's a great cost savings to be able to buy the base only
I bought a base and car seat for our daughter, for our new grandson,,, and a second base only for our own car. The car seat is interchangeable with the base, so if you need to move a baby between cars its a simple process as you don't have to unstrap and re-strap them making babysitting duties safe and easy.The product is really well built and simple to install and moving the car seat in and out of the base is a one hand operation.I'm happy with our purchase and would recommend the KeyFit to others.

Awesome base! But had to buy elsewhere.. here's why....
Perfect fit!! It's a click in and easy to install base. Perfect for a second car, caregiver or grandparents! Bought it myself a while back. This time it was a gift. I'd buy it again but would not ship use their shipping box. So it kept arriving damaged.*Returned this item TWICE. It was to be a gift. It arrived in the manufacturers's box and was damaged. It was shipped back as it arrived. Amazon blamed me for the damaged product upon return. ( see note below) I ended up going to another retailer. Amazon seems to do this quite a bit now. Check your shipping options, accounts, save shipping receipts, and take pictures! Or you may lose your ability to return or trade in despite the damage occurred on their watch!
