What can I say, I'm in my early 30's and I love this haha. Please read review and watch vid.
The media could not be loaded. What can I say other than this proves I'm officially a big kid.I'm in my early 30s with no children (at the present) person in order to think is I wish I had one of these when I was a child. It took me roughly an hour and a half to assemble because I took my time with things like the decals which admittedly had to be perfect or not at all. everything else was relatively straight forward and could have been done by a child.Focusing on the finished article the DeLorean looks great and it is clear to see that the moulds have been produced by Playmobil or their provider to a very high standard with attention to detail. The interior details are fantastic particularly when it comes to the lighting of the flux capacitor. The character also extremely comically created fitting in with the traditional Playmobil style of people but they're clearly Doc Brown and Marty. I was initially worried that the folding wheels would be an issue and might be weak enough to break over time but this doesn't seem to be the case at all and I'm sure they fold out and back many many times before showing any signs of wear. there are some very small parts such as the additional plutonium cause which power the DeLorean but if you keep the age recommended on the box you'll be fine just watch out for pets and younger children if they are in the area.If you're going to get this I would absolutely recommend you also get the 1955 doc, Brown and Marty, as well, they look great.Cons (if any):Einstein can't be sat in the front seat like he was when he was sent on the 1st test run, no matter how much I try to position his legs. This isn't so much a con as it is an easy mistake to make the front and back wheels are not the same size the front wheels are smaller this was a mistake I made and accidentally put the back wheels in the front which meant they were extremely tight and it was quite fiddly to get them back off luckily I was able to do this without damaging the car, just be careful when you get to this part of the instructions as it's not very clear that they are separate sizes larger on the back smaller on the front. There is only one thing I would have liked and that's for the option to have the audio from Back to the Future on the device the only thing that actually happens is lighting. It would be wonderful to have had the option to play the sound effects for the back to the future theme when Marty is racing towards the lightning Oh well, 'Alexa, play the Back to the Future, soundtrack' .

Just lovely
When I saw this I had to have it. Back to the future is one of my favourite films and I love the characters as well.I also have a five year old son so I bought it for both of us 😂 though it is playmobil, sturdy and all fine, during play the side mirrors, for example come off easily which means it is better suited as a display rather than a toy. On the other hand, it gives you great ideas for thought provoking play and discussion so is also educational. This is nice as a collectors item and OK as a toy.

Probably My Favourite Playmobil Car
Nice model, lots of extras and it lights up etc, wish the button to turn the lights on was on the top to save me picking it up to do it..I know... perish the thought I may play with it! I like this one best out of the 3 I have..Aston and Ferrari. Star Trek ships next i think!

I'd like to say this was bought for my son but sadly not. It's a wonderful take on the movie car. Sturdy, detailed and bring back all the memories of your childhood. Only one disappointing part and that's that there is no Mr Fusion attachment to make is full BTTF 2 car. The car comes with 3 plutonium tubes but not the white Mr Fusion. Now the set doesn't come with one but seems like a missed opportunity given how simply it would have been to include. My pickiness aside it's a wonderful item to add to the collection. As someone who owns the Lego variant I've got to say this is sooo much better to both use a d look at at a fraction of the cost the Lego sets now go for. I've given it 4 stars for value as it's half the size of the Ghostbusters Ecto 1 set I also own

A must have for 'Back to the Future' fans!
Fairly easy to assemble and looks great on the mantle piece! Very detailed and the lights are great, NOT a toy it's too good! Only disappointment was one piece was faulty and didn't fit as it had a bend where it shouldn't! Had to leave it off and is only noticeable from one side, still looks great but annoying all the same.

Ideal for BTTF fans
I am a huge fan of BTTF and was a little reluctant to buy this because it's Playmobil and I'm not 5! However, it doesn't look as toy-ish as I'd thought it would. It does look like a nice collector's item and is on display with the rest of my collection. Stickers were a little fiddly, so if you're buying this for a kid, I advise adult intervention at this stage. Einstein (or Copernicus, depending how you look at it!) doesn't look quite true to the films, but a minor flaw. Doc and Marty look great. Love the lights but as previous commentators have mentioned, a little sound would have made this perfect.
