Ordered it for development and gaming purposes (not a competitive gamer). It fulfills the purpose completely. The color reproduction is above expectations, and brightness is also more than adequate. Although on font sizes less than 10 (I use Consolas in Sublime text, bold), the pixels become more distinguishable (meaning text appears more pixelated and rough). But for the average person, this may be a very good first investment.

I done lot of research before buying this model. This is the best middle level monitor you can get from dell. Others are high defenition series which is way costly and only needed for color sensitive works. For a developer who is in front of a monitor 12 hrs, this was good enough. Was skeptical about dead pixels but none found for me. This was once delayed didnt reached me and they cancelled. I ordered again with more benifit got in cost due to SBI offer. I can send detailed review if have some time.. There are some negative comments.- Audio not there. I was aware about it, I dont want everything from a monitor- Seller related reviews. My seller was Appario Retail, once order was failed anyway but that was due to lockdown and courier issues. Otherwise this seller looks fine.- HDMI cable not there. There was different cables provided , but not standard one. For me that was also not issue since I already had it.Update:Iam writing this update after two years. Now it had a bleeding issue in corner. Since dell warranty is 3 years applied for It. And they just precelled new monitor! Thanks to dell again.

After a lot of research i found a mid ground to buy this DELL monitor. It is value for money for me, does all what I need. I just see one issue which is related to product build, materials are fine but structure is so delicate that you can easily see inside with slightest of force. Other than this it works perfectly and its stand is sturdy enough to handle its weight in any orientation.Note: Check my seller feedback for DELL warranty of Amazon purchased products

An amazing monitor from Dell!Before time delivery and packaging was very good from Amazon.The design , stability , clarity , resolution is great as expected from Full HD IPS monitor...The best thing I like about it, is the stand which gives too much flexibility (moveable and tilt able up & dn, rotate 90 degrees both monitor & stand).

Great monitor for the price. I've hooked up to a Lenovo T450 laptop which is a 14" FHD screen. So the dell doesn't look as sharp as the laptop but I try to keep some distance between myself and screen when I work (2' from laptop 3' from dell monitor) & it works out fine. I mostly do programming for reference. At a 4-5' distance I use it for streaming content from Netflix etc. It's definitely a much better experience than the laptop. I would suppose a 2k resolution screen would be better for video content but this is my first monitor and primarily targeted at extra screen space for programming so wanted a cheaper setup for now.

I will write the most relevant question.Can I connect my laptop with this monitor using just a type-C cable? ----> yes, via adaptersWill I be able to charge my laptop at the same time via type-C? -----------> NO.Connection can be setup between laptop's type-C and Monitor's HDMI, but since HDMI can't provide power to laptop, the laptop has to use its regular power adapter.So, NO YOU CAN'T USE A USB TYPE - C CABLE TO DELIVER CONTENT TO MONITOR AS WELL AS CHARGE YOUR LAPTOP.Having said that, this monitor is awesome. Super sotthing on eyes. I often end up working late at night with all lights off and the min. brightness can still be ok. If you have a small LED table lamp, then you can place it behind the monitor to light up the wall a bit, and you rock.Happy Dell Monitoring :)

After I have used it for more than 3 months I can say, It's a value for money product the full-screen rotation is just amazing, This setup can substitute the monitor arm in some cases. Extremely useful for newspaper and Pdf reading.

I broke my monitor during a cross country drive and ordered this. It was easy to set up and the elongated screen is the perfect size for large spreadsheets and such. I dont do much with graphics so I cant say much in regards to the quality for gaming or movies but its perfect for everyday work.

Lieferung hat gut geklappt nur, dass leider der Firmenname nicht übernommen wurde und es dann Probleme bei der Zustellung gab. Das Produkt an sich hält was es verspricht. Gute Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Uso o monitor com um Macbook Pro e tem sido uma boa experiência. Meu maior uso é pra programar e a qualidade de letras nele é muito inferior que na tela do Macbook, eu sinto que as letras estão "quebradas" já que consigo ver os pixels. Isso me trouxe uma dificuldade de adaptação mas basta entender que a qualidade não é a mesma da tela do macbook e adaptar mesmo. A qualidade de vídeo, imagens e jogos é excelente e me surpreendeu bastante.Uso o night shift no mac, e ele não fica tão bom no monitor; as cores do macbook e do monitor não combinam, mas da pra tentar ajustar o esquema de cores. Também não sei porque mas o cursor não pega o night shift, fazendo com que ele fique branco na tela amarelada kkkkkkkkk

Pantalla excelente, su sujeción es muy buena y realmente ayuda mucho el hecho de poder girarlo: el formato vertical ayuda a la lectura de documentos o a escribir códigos largos. El USB Dock incorporado también es cómodo, ya que puedes convertir un portátil en un PC si tiene enchufado a la pantalla un ratón y un teclado. Entonces solo conectando dos cables (USB y Display Port) puedes ya tener el portátil conectado.Eso si, conectar los cables mejor hacerlo al principio, porque si no tienes acceso directo detrás de la pantalla puede costar enchufarlos por el ángulo en que están colocados. En cualquier caso, apenas debería ocasionar algún problema.En cuanto a la pantalla, los colores son bastante ajustados y encima se pueden calibrar si se desea una extremada fidelidad a la realidad.Al ser de 24" a una distancia razonable no se ve nada pixelado, realmente muy agradable a la vista. de 27" ya habría problemas creo.No hay problemas con fugas de luz en mi ejemplar. Aunque depende la la iluminación exterior, puede que los negros no se vean perfectamente uniformes por todos los bordes. Pero realmente nunca me ha molestado, ya que tener la pantalla en negro no es una cosa que me pase muy a menudo.También comentar que estéticamente es muy guapa la pantalla, tiene un acabado chulo.

Ottimo prodotto e buona luminosità. Le regolazioni del display sono tantissime: altezza, rotazione, ecc. L'hub USB è comodissimo. Per esempio io ho attaccato mouse e tastiera wireless al display, quindi se devo cambiare portatile non devo staccare una miriadi di usb. Lo consiglio vivamente, è di ottima fattura e facile da montare ed è anche molto stabile sul supporto. La confezione comprende due cavi di alimentazione, che a proposito ha l'alimentatore dentro il monitor e quindi bisogna solo attaccare il cavo e si risparmia spazio. Poi ha il cavo DVI e il cavo per l'usb hub. Ci sono anche vari fogli di istruzioni, su quello di montaggio c'è anche la pagina per poter scaricare i driver e vedere lo stato della garanzia. Si può scaricare anche un comodo programma che serve a impostare varie funzioni del display come la divisione dello schermo in più parti (non la solita disposizione di Windows).Consiglio a chi cerca un monitor elegante e di ottima qualità
