Unbelievable fidelity.
These lightweight, very comfortable over-the-ear headphones provide spectacular sound when used with the Yamaha CLP845 Clavinova, which I own. The instrument has a “binaural” sound processing technology when headphones are used, and the resultant sound is beyond description! The devices create an absolutely faithful illusion of playing a concert grand piano with the instrument appearing in front of you. Yet, only you hear the sound, allowing practice not to disturb others. For this purpose, and at such a bargain price, I cannot recommend these phones more highly.

These are GREAT!
I bought these to use with my new Kawai. They blend perfectly, are comfortable to wear and the sound is excellent. I highly recommend these headphones for musicians.

Very comfortable, great sound
I bought this for my digital piano. They are so comfortable and the sound is amazing. I turn on the piano, put on my headphones and play away. Don't have to worry about playing too loud and bothering my neighbors.

Works with in-the-canal hearing aids
I've been struggling with using computer headphones with my hearing aids (CIC). My existing headphones provide a lot of feedback and are thus not really usable. Taking off my aids each time I use the computer is a hassle, and make them subject to loss. The open design of these solves the problem. They sound great with my aids on, and they sound great without my aids. Love them.

Amazing sound; light headset
I bought these headphones to use with my Yamaha Clavinova digital piano. I also bought the Philips Audio SHP9500 HiFi Precision Stereo Over-Ear Headphones for $62 ($79.99 full price). There was NO comparison between the two. This Yamaha pair is far, far better. The sound was much louder, much bigger, much clearer, and they are significantly lighter and more comfortable than the Philips pair. They seem flimsy, but I think that's deceptive. I couldn't believe how clear the sound is, and how it gives the impression of a loud soundstage. The sound leakage is minimal. There was no noise in the street, so I can't speak to how well they keep out other sounds. Please note that I don't have experience of headphones in any price range above the $110 that these cost, but I can tell you that the sound is beautiful. Clear as a bell, and now I know what is meant by a large soundstage.I think these are excellent headphones for the price. Waiting to hear how well they will drown out outside noise...will update.

Excellent sound
You gotta be insanely picky to think these headphones don't produce great sound. They are crystal clear, with perfect mids, decent bass (not a bass head), and nice balanced highs. Now if only my Clavinova 745 speakers produced sound as good as this.

Sounds great but cheap cord
Bought these because they sound great with Yamaha electronic pianos. They use these in the piano showroom. However, the (very thin) cord started coming apart after a couple months of normal use. The black insulation came apart exposing bare wire.

Crystal clear
Surprised the aural sound is so realistic. At times I cannot even tell the headphones are on since it sounds like the sound is coming from my n1x. Definitely worth it since it is below the msrp on Yamaha. The headphones themself are quite light and don’t hurt your ear if you wear them for a plethora of hours.
