2009 Explorer its what your supposed to use
Motorcraft gold antifreeze works the best on my explorer haven’t had any heat ups or leaking. The perfect product made for Ford engines.

Seems fine. More educated people than myself have recommended this fluid for my truck after a full flush. So far, so good in my Ford 7.3L Diesel.

I Don't Trust the All-Makes-All-Models-All-Years Antifreeze
Because there is no standards organization that governs antifreeze, I have zero trust in any aftermarket antifreeze that claims to be All-Makes-All-Models-All Years. Therefore, I pay extra for a Ford factory specified coolant.
