IT WORKS!
First, I do not work for or have any relationship with the manufacturer and I am not AI generated. That said, I have a 2018 Silverado that recently started to "shudder" a certain speeds. I took it to my mechanic, said I need a tune-up, $450.00 done. Did not resolve. Took it back..."must be tire out of balance". Got the tire balanced, rotated, $160.00. Still shudders. Take it back, must be a wheel bearing. Check and verified good. Then they told me it was a known issue with torque converters on my truck. Can't just replace the Torque Converter and need a new trans or rebuild. ($6-10 thousand). I take it to three (3) transmission repair shops. Two of the three immediately agreed it was a torque converter issue and will need a rebuild. Oddly, the third suggested that before I spend thousands on rebuild, do three consecutive fluid and filter changes, (NOT FLUSH AND FILLS) one per month for three months and use Mecron or Mobil 1 instead of factory Dex IV. I start reading up on why a different brand fluid and came across an ad for "LubeGard Instant Shudder stop". I called the trans guy and he said generally he thinks "liquid fixes don't work" but, if it is the torque converter, the liquid fix won't work and won't make things worse. I bought some and added it to my truck (my fluid, filter change is not done yet) I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! I DROVE AWAY WITH NO SHUDDER!! That said, I am still following through with the fluid filter changes as recommended, but I am adding the 2 oz of LubeGard each time! If you really have a torque converter failing, IT will do nothing but provide diagnostic confirmation of the problem. And if it does work, you just saved thousands on repairs! Buy if you think you're having the issue.

A REAL, HONEST review from a self-proclaimed shadetree mechanic..
This is a real, honest review by someone who's actually bought and tried this product. I'm not compensated for my findings, I have no affiliation with the company, LubeGuard or it's product other than being a consumer and purchasing it for my own personal vehicle. I am a self-proclaimed shadetree mechanic. I do most of my own car maintenance and repairs in my driveway. I'm experienced with everything from basic oil changes, tune up's, even timing chains, lifters, fuel pumps, etc. I've always been too broke (cheap?) to hire professional mechanics for most things. My daily driver car, a 2007 Ford Five Hundred/Mercury Montego has about 147,000 on the clock. I really love the car, it's still a nice ride for it's age and milage. Naturally my heart sank when I experienced a "shudder/studder/hesitation". I once thought it was ignition related, so I began pulling spark plugs and coil packs in hopes of finding the culprit. I cleaned the throttle body, I cleaned the MAF sensor, I dosed the fuel with a heavy dose of Techron and Seafoamed the intake manifold. Nothing helped. Nothing really stopped it.. Until now. What I thought was ignition/fuel related turned out to be transmission related. Specificially, the torque convertor. I was experiencing TC shudder - and knowing how expensive transmission shops are, my heart sank a little. Ultimately TC shudder is a mechanical problem and the only real "fix" is to replace the faulty part. I could feel my wallet getting lighter already. Then, I stumbled across this product. For less than the price of a large pizza, I bought the "two tube" pack with the thoughts of dosing it hot and sending it. What happened next defies my logic as a shadetree mechanic. Never in my life have I ever experienced a "fix in a bottle". This stuff though.. Ha, let me tell you. Blew my mind.It worked, atleast, on my drive to work this morning it did. Theres a certain spot in town that my car always, ALWAYS shuddered. Always. The speed, the load on the engine, everything in this location was always just right to initiate the hesitation. This morning though.. I felt nothing. Just a smooth cruise right on into the office. Now I'll go on record and state this is NOT the only thing I did. I also simply drained the transmission (did NOT flush, simply drained what was in the pan), refilled with fresh clean fluid, and two tubes of this stuff. I don't imagine the transmission fluid alone helped it. I suspect the magical red unicorn blood in the tubes played a part, and I'm cool with that.If you're experiencing transmission shudder.. Do yourself a favor and try this stuff. If it works, you've just bought yourself some time with a bandaid that actually works. If it doesn't, atleast you know you tried something that has an actual track record of providing results.UPDATE: Approximately 700 miles in and still smooth as silk. Mind is still blown.UPDATE: Approximately 1500 miles in, still perfect. Zero sign of shudder.UPDATE: Today is 9/19/23 and I'm sitting at 152,000 on the odometer. Approximately 5,000 miles since the Shudder Fix. The car is still driving and shifting just fine, every bit as good as that first drive with it.

Seems Like A Go...
I've had a 2009 Ford Flex since new and it's no secret that the '09 was sort of riddled with teething problems... One of which was the transmission in the earliest models.I've been lucky with it so far, that is until we were returning to Ohio from Florida last month. We stopped at a motel for the night, and while idling through the parking lot trying to find our room, the vehicle seemed to lose all of it's power as I tried using the accelerator to maneuver into our parking spot. The only Auto Parts store in the area DIDN'T have this product, so I bought and added another brand and that got us home, although the torque converter would still shudder on moderate acceleration, say like while entering the freeway.Fast forward to this week... I changed two thirds of the transmission fluid and added two tubes of this product while refilling. On my first ten mile drive to the next town to do some grocery shopping, I immediately noticed a marked improvement over what I was getting before.I drove the Flex "the long way home" on the return trip, which came out to around another 20 miles and the shudder upon acceleration was even less apparent.Hopefully with a few more miles of driving, it will dissipate even more. All in all, this product has seemed to really revitalize the transmission in my vehicle... So I'd say that it was well worth the money I spent on it.I'd recommend this product to anyone who's experiencing torque converter shudder in their personal vehicle... Provided that their transmission and this product are compatible. It's not recommended for CVTs and similar.
