Sizes have changed!!!
Been wearing this brand for many many years. Have even purchased them several times from this seller. I have always worn a size large.I purchased some for Christmas didn’t put them on until recently. They are so small I couldn’t even get them on. I have not gained weight and I am still wearing my other size large. Be careful with the size.Sizes have changed

Yes, you should size up.
Not really shapewear but more like a smooth-wear. Think of these as being one step more supportive than panties. They have spandex and will gently support and smooth but without flattening like shapewear would. I used to wear these all the time years ago and always found them to be comfortable and I always felt less tired at the end of the day just from the gentle, hardly-noticeable support. They are also so smooth that if you work a job involving a lot of bending and stooping they are much less likely to bunch up and pinch; they glide under pants rather than bunching. I was glad to find them again. As many reviewers have mentioned, you must size up. I ordered two sizes up from my normal pants size and they fit, so keep that in mind. If you order your regular size they will definitely will be too small. They are a nice option if you don't want a tight, girdle-like fit but would like some support and smoothing.

Sizing is not correct. Approximately two sizes smaller.
I have ordered these panties previously and i thought they were excellent. They washed well and fit well.unfortunately Bali is having these panties made in Vietnam now instead of South America. The fabric is not the same quality and the sizing is not correct. Although it says XL it fits like a medium. I am returning them.

What's the point?
Well, they're pretty and they fit, more or less. If you're a short person, like I am, they're a bit too long. They cinch in at the waist a lot but don't really do anything else to control the flab. I really don't see the point. I guess my expectations were just too high.
