Perfect replacement for my Dell laptop

Terrible. They initially sent me a 65 watt charger that i had to return. Then when i finally got the charger within 5 months it is already starting to break. Highly recommend purchasing from someone else.

Initially I had issues with it not charging my battery or even making a connection. So I played with it a little and found some updates that hadn't been done on my Dell XPS, so I did the updates and a restart and it started working fine. Anyway, I am very pleased with it and would recommend it!

I purchased my first one on June 8, 2022. On October 14, 2023, the laptop showed it was low on battery even though it had been plugged in for a while and the light on the charging cable was still on. On closer inspection, I noticed there was some goop around the barrel plug. The goop was hard, like dried glue. I tried to pull out the charging cable, but it was stuck in the port. I was able to wiggle it out slowly, but it was apparent that something in the male side of the barrel plug had swollen and pushed out the glue. I ended up ordering another and received it same day. For the price, this works ok and I don't expect it to last forever. The quality is obviously lower than the official one from Dell. A year and a half is fine with me for thirty bucks and if it dies by a little swelling instead of killing my computer, that's a win in my book.Edit: I did end up having to replace the female connector in the laptop since I guess the swelling of the male plug caused the female one to expand and have a very loose connection. I fixed it with a $7 replacement barrel plug part from Amazon. It was easy for me but it's something to consider if you're uncomfortable opening up the laptop.

Cable works great and is secure in the charging port.

Registered as a genuine 130w charger in BIOS for Dell Precision 5530. Just what I needed at less than half the price of OEM.
