Q: What wax can be use with wicks?

I am using both beeswax and paraffin, each separately. But I don't know if there is an officially recommended wax to use.

Q: what are these wicks coated with?

Wax so they are stiff until you get hot wax on them or burn them. The wooden sticks make it really easy to put the wicks in the right position while you are making candles.

Q: what diameter size candle does this work with when using soy wax 444? Is it similar to Eco or CD wicks?

The silver base is 1/2 inch ,with stickers to place on so the wick sticks to the inside of the jar ,the wick is 6 inches long that can be cut to size of jar. Soy wax holds up great, I made a 3 wick in a 5 1/2 glass holder, wood wick holders are strong enough to use over and over ,also one wick is enough to use in left over oui yogurt jars. Have fun.
