Ghost Rider / Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance - Set [Blu-ray]

Great movie

This Blu-Ray collection contains two discs: the extended cut of Ghost Rider and the sequel, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. These discs are exactly the same as what you'd buy individually. The sequel was also released in 3D, but that version isn't on here. Nor are there any Ultraviolet codes, which would have been nice, but for two brand new discs at $10, I can't complain too much.I guess the only thing that's really missing is the theatrical version of the first movie. I usually prefer extended cuts anyway and am certainly not bemoaning the fact that it's missing, it just feels a little less like a complete package.First movie's bonus features are two audio commentaries, and a three-part feature length "making of" documentary, presented in 1080i.Second movie has "expanded video commentary," deleted scenes a six-part feature length "making of" documentary.If you're collecting Marvel movies on Blu-Ray, this is a very nice option to pick these both up for a low cost. If you want digital copies, you'll have to either get those ala carte (although there are low-priced disc to digital options if you use Ultraviolet). The sequel was released with digital copy on its own, but not the first movie.

Ok, the first Ghost Rider is AWESOME! The sequel...let's just say I need to open up the windows in my house to air out the horrible stench from that sorry excuse for a movie. I absolutely hated it! It was so bad and so cheesy and so stupid. I could add more "ands" here, but I will resist the urge. The ONLY good things about the sequel were Nicolas Cage and the Ghost Rider. Re-watching part 1 was great again. As far as the sequel goes, I can never ever get that time back again...

Both of these are good movie I don’t care what people say how bad these movies are. I still love this movie to these days.

Wanted to add this Marvel character to my movie collection. Actually, this was a replacement for a damaged item received a few days earlier. The first shipment had a broken case causing one of discs to be damaged when it came loose. Requesting this replacement was extremely easy with Amazon (5 stars). Fortunately, both discs arrived error free the second time, but not the case. One of center holding hubs was broken each time causing the disc to move around freely. as was the case the first time.It doesn't appear to be an Amazon or U.S. Postal issue, but just another manufacturer trying to cut costs with the cheapest case they could use. The result, a hassle for customers and more expense for Amazon.That being said, I am glad I added this two movie collection to my Marvel Library and would recommend it if your into Marvel dark heroes (i.e. Deadpool, Blade etc).
