Great for the money
I purchased this item in hopes of making my computer and the important apps more secure. Even though logging into my apps, accounts and computers are taking a little bit longer than before, this key has seemingly improved the overall security of my data.I can go to bed at night without having to worry about important data being accessed and stolen.I have made some serious security checks on my systems, and have found that my by integrating both a password manager and the use of these keys, my security risks have dramatically decreased overall. These are easy to set up and use. The keys come with simple instructions that allows me to install and manage all of my security vulnerabilities, more easily and efficiently.

It works
So I tried this as an alternative to my old, recently unsupported Yubico key. This works, although there is room for improvementThe Good:1- Works perfectly in Windows 10 and no additional software needed.2- It works! Facebook. Google. The usual suspects. It works. The Bad:1- The instructions were a bit lacking and the site is not too helpful2- If you're used to the Yubico software and customization, this is not for you.The Ugly:1- Their information on the website changed. Originally, the card supported OTP (listed under tech specs) and after I made mention of it, the information was removed.2-Tech support is hit or miss. Lots of canned replies. I haven't had the need to use tech support, so if you are the curious type, this shouldn't be an issue for you.Overall, if I had to do it all over again, I would purchase the card. Its cheaper than the Yubico and offers most of the features the Yubico keys have.

Non-functional after 12 hours.
ZERO STAR REVIEW. Purchased yesterday. No instructions. Web link on package leads to a defunct website. Found tips on Youtube and got the thing working. 12 hours later, burned out and not recognizable by laptop.Steer clear of this piece of garbage.

Easy to use. Banks and other companies need to get on board
In December, Comcast was breached where hackers were able to get around the standard Mfa of texting or emailing a code to you. Although my account was hacked, the hackers did not change the backup email address and I was able to regain my account. I figured I would give Yubikey a try. Unfortunately Comcast hasn’t incorporated passkeys as an option for their 2FA. PayPal, Facebook, your password apps, google, Apple, ID.me (used for social security) fortunately do. I recommend getting 2 (at least one should be the nfc model for your mobile device) and use 1 as a backup in case the other gets lost. Some sites don’t let you set up two. For the life of me I can’t figure out why banks do not use this option. They have the worst security measures. When you set them up, and the site or app asked for your key, just bring the nfc version to your phone or plug the key into a usb slot and bam. It’s that simple.

Works with Apple 13 Pro NFC
Keys work well with both the iPhone 13 Pro and a Asus Zenbook . Setup 2 keys to secure my Apple ID on iPhone. On the Asus Evo, I have BOA, Google Apps, , and Bitwarden premium locked down with the Gotrust keys . I purchased 2 NFC Usb A designed units. For other applications which allow 2fA but not secured keys I use Authy authenticator, which works well with Amazon and PayPalHighly recommend it

Understand what it is for before you buy ....
On multiple occasions I have had my phone stolen and been locked out of all my accounts and it took months to recover and many many hours of frustration and password resets.I purchased this as I thought it could be a backup means of authentication in the event this happened again. So far as I can tell, its useless for this purpose.1. First, at least on a Mac, you need two of them. You can't just set up one.2. Second, it appears that if you set up one of these, no other authentication method can be used. It's exclusively hardware key or other methods, not an either/or thing.3. It seems (from doing some reading) that it won't work with iPads. So if you set it up on a Mac system you need to eliminate 2FA for accounts on your iPad.Anyway this was a total waste of money for me.
