I added Life Extension SUPER CARNOSINE 500 mg to my regimine 2 months ago hoping to curtail the growth of early cataracts in both eyes. I take 2 capsules each morning. I have noted an improvement in my eyesite. I was not able to read small print on labels and such without reading glasses AT ALL. Now I can read the smallest print, not with perfect vision, but I can certainly see it and make out what it says. Night vision has improved slightly as well. An added benefit I've been noticing is that my daily stress and food triggered HEART ARYTHMIA has all but stopped! I have been experiencing this since my 30s! I'm now into my 60s. I haven't felt the arythmia more than once every two weeks. I'm amazed! I will definitely continue with this wonderful product!

good supplement to take for those w/diabetes...…….taking a few others also and am working my A1c down slow but sure. don't let regular docs tell u that u r stuck for life with insulin needles/pens. there are alternatives out there, find the supplements that work for your body. one last tip: STAY AWAY FROM MOST CALCIUM IN ANY SUPPLEMENT!! ITS NOT THE FORM BODY USES ANYWAY!! A german doc found out yrs ago that 2aep is the correct form (Niedermeyer doc) along with boron,strontium and sm doses of vit c. why sm of vit c? I was going to return this product but wanted to try it because of the benefits for fibromyalgia. I noticed that it contains thiamine which is B1 as well as Benfotiamine, a stronger form of B1. Both at 50 mg. I am also taking a B-Complex with 50 mg of Thiamine. I just read that the adult daily dose should be at 1.1 mg. I will be taking 150 mg per day if I only take one capsule of this product. Does anyone know if the amount of B1 is dangerous? I am sure this is a quality product, just concerned.
