Rugged w/great sound. Best purchase I’ve made in a while!
Amazing device. I tried the Dewalt unit and another lower cost unit and found them tinny, larger and poor Bluetooth range. The sound on this NoxGear is amazingly good for the small size. I can understand dialogue and the music is much better than expected. This NoxGear has been on my work shirts and jackets for many months now. It has fallen to the ground from 10 feet high, down steps and dozens of times from my shirt pocket without any damage externally or sound wise. The battery far exceeds my 10 hour workdays. I am working in a harsh construction environment and the ability to easily adjust sound, fast forward/rewind, answer calls and turn on/off easily, makes it a very easy to use device. I wear it 6 days a week and can get quite far from my phone and still have solid Bluetooth connectivity. There is nothing I am unhappy with, in fact I can’t recommend more. The only feature I don’t use is the magnet piece that connects it to you by putting the magnet on the back of the shirt and the device on the outside. It works well but not in a rough environment. In my opinion the value of this NoxGear speaker is far greater than the cheaper ones that are available. You truly get way more than you pay for.

Best device for you, me and your ears
This device is so handy, I think everyone should own one. (You know your cellphone audio is so low that you have to stick the end of it into your ear and wow, that looks dumb).1. This Bluetooth portable speaker is small, light, and effective.2. It has a rechargeable battery, not an obscure battery from who knows where it came from.3. It has multiple functions like on/off, volume control, pair (to your phone), battery status, etc.4. Sound comes out of a small speaker, not something you stick in your ear.5. It has a clip to wear the device on your clothing.6. It has a magnetic back to stick it on your refrigerator.7. The device has a VERY reasonable price even compared to cheap ear buds.8. Is it waterproof? Who knows, I'm not going swimming with it.9. It works so well, I bought a second one the minute I tried it.10. No, I don't work for Noxgear ! (The instructions are clear and simple - try it out).

Wow! Just wow!
I don't know where this is made but the quality is impressive.I work in a very loud place and I can't stand earphones, this meant I had to find some type of small speaker to fill that void, over the years I've tried about a dozen little speakers, that's before this one was available. Some were loud in a quiet room but terrible in my work environment, so I had to keep going up from least expensive to more expensive while trying not to buy anything bigger or heavier than my phone. This was never an easy task, it seemed like there was never more than 5 of those types of small speakers on Amazon for a long time. Some were meant for the wrist,Some for Keychains,Some for wearing.Even when they were loud enough something was always lacking to the point of me forgetting them in a corner at home,They weren't good enough to worry about.Bad buttons.Bad battery life.Bad attachment systems/too far from my ears/falls off too easily. Most just couldn't last 6 hours on high volume which was necessary for how powerful the speakers were.Okay, so let's talk about this new guy.Pros:This little speaker weighs 39 grams! SMH!It looks weird, but that angle enables us to have the perfect orientation from speaker to ears. The buttons are made big and snappyEspecially the main middle button, which means I never have to think about where what or how to push in order to pause or play. It's loud enough, depending where in my building I'm working the noise levels change, it can get loud. This speaker is loud enough.Especially If i keep it on my shoulder.Normally it's attached to my clothe on my clavicle, under my chin. It's loud enough! Lol I promise. In the loudest environments I have to put the volume all the way up and keep it on top of my shoulder for me to listen properly and it works but then doing this depletes the battery faster. But still it always lasts at least 7 hours for me per charge.7 hours on loudI should mention that I've recently discovered that Samsung phones do not allow maximum volume supposedly to protect your ears, you dumb humans 🙄.But there's ways around that and this has little to do with the speaker, I only mention it because if you have those settings turned off then the speaker does become louder.I doubt that's good for the durability of the speaker but it needs to be said.OK so charging.USB Type CBelieve it or not about half of those small speakers do not use type C they still the old micro USB tech from 10 years ago. There's a blue light that's usually on but can be turned off for normal daily use.I turned mine off but I don't remember the button combination (look at your manual). While charging, that blue light turns on red the entire time until its done. In which case, it turns green.I am not sure how long it takes to charge because I charge it at night every night before bed, I would say it takes about 4 or 5 hours to fully charge, I never have to worry about charging it because the battery lasts the entire day for me, especially when not using high volume. The attachment features!Better then 99percent of all others. It has a great clip, it will fall off, it has but most of the time it's my fault for clipping it on my bulky jacket. This sounds like a con but having used the other speakers without clips or with absolutely terrible clips, this is the best clip ever in my not so humble opinion.More than just a clipIt comes with a blue magnetic tab meant to be used under your clothes/shirt but also allows you to keep it on a ferrous metal, the con here is that it will slip off if the surface is slick.I fix that by applying fabric tape but yes I wish I didn't have to.Then againThis is a great problem to have considering 99percent of the other little speakers have no magnetic attachments.Did I mention this thing weighs 39 grams?Thank you for reading, I got carried away.I do very much love this thing, that is because it's the best.I've had it for 3 or 4 months now and dropped it dozens of times and it still works great. For those of you concerned about sound quality, I don't think I'm a great judge but my father who's a musician heard what the speaker has to offer and he now wants one.The price seems like a con until you use it and for me having wasted hundreds on other lesser speakers I know I'm glad to pay it.This is my very biased opinion of course, feel free to try something less expensive and see how satisfied you can be.Latersssss!

Works great on goldwing aux input - BT - no wires! Mobile assistant is a no go.
You have to remember when taking off her shirt, your hoodie , your article of clothing- to remove the unit, otherwise you may be looking in the clothes hamper for the unit or it could get washed .the magnetic clip on works good, I have no complaints about that whatsoever. Also, the regular clip works well too.The call quality is excellent , it’s great to listen to audio books , news waves on Sirius 127 or just walking about with some classical like Bach at market .Battery life is great !Having the audio out Jack is nice too as you can transmit via Bluetooth audio from your mobile phone . This might be more helpful to gold wing people. - I willbe testing that later today on my goldwing .Where the unit fails is that you can’t press a button or tap the com badge like on Star Trek to talk to your mobile assistant. It’s somewhat disappointing because you want to just be walking and send a text without getting your mobile device out.According to Nox gear in order to talk to your mobile assistant, you have to manually press the button on your device and then you can talk it through the nox gear mic .Yes, that does work, but I have a Bluetooth combadge from the wand company and while the battery life is not so good compared to the Nox gear , the unit will work with google assistant without getting your phone out .Overall , it’s a good unit but not being able to directly interface with google or Siri is a downer . Every Bluetooth device I have except my Nox gear can do that . Even my blue parrot and google glass ( which still works btw )Yea get if if you don’t want to have a bt headset against your head 8 hours but privacy may not be so good .Update : tested on goldwing - plugged in output Jack to goldwing aux connect - worked great . So get it for that reason alone .
