My 2yr old son absolutely loves this! It was simple to assemble as I did it myself no problem. It's sturdy, and perfect for a young child..The appearance is just as pictured. I like that it is covered to help keep the sun off of him while he enjoys playing outside. The only thing I wish- was that it came with a few food pieces other than just the cups, pots/pans, ect. Overall, it definitely seems worth its value so far!

Easy to put together and our son loves playing with this for hours. Perfect way to keep your kids busy for a few hours and outside playing! We really love that we don’t have to have a water table, sand box and grill at home. We just have this item outsideI would use a drill because there are no pre drilled holes so a screwdriver is kind of hard to use.

Love this play center. I love that it can also be a sand and water play area. Fairly easy to put together and has been stable in some pretty bad storms. Only complaint is the grill did not come with the fake knobs that was shown in the photo.

Took a little bit to put to assemble but when fone the grandkids were excited. Very sturdy, its appearance is just like in the ad. Didn't take up a lot of space in my sons yard. No holes, nothing was warped. Its a great way for them to play out from the sunshine.

This playset is super cute & very easy to put together by yourself. My 5 year old loves it so if you have an older toddler or young kids or a tall 5/6 year old it’s still playable for them too.We’re going to use orbeez or small pebbles instead of sand because the bugs will invade our little bbq and make a home in the sand.

This is a typical high quality product from Step 2. Everything we have ever bought and used from them our children have loved and lasts forever. Our grandson prefers the sand and water box over the cooking, but if we pull our lawn chairs up to the bar he starts grilling right away! It did not come with play food so we bought a big box of it separately. The product is so easy to take care of, when he is finished and goes home to his parents I just put the cover on the sand and hose everything down and its ready for him next weekend.Just be aware if you have experienced putting kids play toys together this will be easy, but if you're new it will take more time and follow the instructions carefully, although anyone can do it with ease. It took me about an hour being experienced, so plan your time accordingly. Also, the silver hooks that hang the towels and utensils don't fit the predrilled holes, I had to drill out the holes a little bigger to make them fit. If you left the hooks off it is definitely no big deal and would probably make no difference to the child.Edit after 3 years: ITS A PITA TO BUY THE CANOPY WHEN IT WEARS OUT DUE TO LONG TERM USE AND WEATHER! It is not a standard replacement part on their website you have to call in and place the order manually like we're living in the 1980s. It's like the most ridiculous thing for the modern era of the internet and buying replacement parts online. If you look at all the questions asked on the web page it's the one thing everybody wants is the canopy and it's a stupid form letter that they post that doesn't even make sense and then someone finally said oh you have to call in to buy it. Dumb dumb dumb. Get your act together and get in the modern era.

This thing is amazing! We just moved into a new house and wanted something for my daughter. She is 2-1/2 and VERY tall for her age (almost 3 feet). One reason we chose this is because of the height clearance. Other things we love: complete visibility- we can clearly see what she is doing (or shoving in her mouth) and if there are any spiders we need to get rid of before she plays in it. Ventilation- in the summer it gets hot and being enclosed in a 4 sided house with tiny windows can get pretty sweaty, with this one you don’t have that problem and she is still being shaded from the sun. Number of Activities: there is a sand box(we put in fish gravel instead so it can be swept up and doesn’t get muddy with the water. Highly recommend), a water play compartment, a sink, a grill, and a table area. My daughter loves making us fish rock food and then taking it back to put it in the oven(grill) for further cooking.One thing I noticed while putting this together is how easy the pole system was. Everything snaps into place and once together there is no shaking or rickidyness to it AT ALL.It comes with a mesh bag to put all the toys in at the end of the day which is cool but I have noticed that the covered sand area can easily fit all the loose toys and it’s much easier to put them in there where all the bugs can’t find a new home.All in all it’s an amazing purchase and I wouldn’t hesitate to get it again even at full price!!
