I so wanted to love this razor because of its low environmental impact. It took a while to figure out how to get the cover off the blade. Once I succeeded, I pressed the razor handle in it to snap in the blade … and the little plastic holder on the razor broke. I even used less pressure than I have used before with name brand replaceable blade razors. And Amazon says it cannot be returned. What a waste. Aw.//3/

I recommend buying the five blade system because the blade and razors feel like Bic disposable razors. The five blade system is a much improved handle and shave. The blades are not interchangeable either so pay attention when you buy the cartridges or you'll end up like me: Five blade razors with 3 blade cartridges and had to order the handle for the 3 blade. I'll order more 5 blade cartridges when I run out of the 3 blade. I'm not going to waste the cartridges I have.

My skin is very sensitive when it comes to shaving. I experience a lot of pili multigemini which is basically when multiple strands of hair emerge from one hair follicle. This can make for a very unpleasant shaving experience. Simply Venus Gillette triple blade razors were my holy grail for shaving and besides those razors I could only get away with disposable bic 2 blade shavers while still experiencing some irritation. After learning about the cruel conditions other animals face I have decided to look more deeply into the products I buy.Either this would work or I would be that hairy woman walking down the street! Thankfully this razor did the job and did it well. It took some getting use to but I figured out what works best for me and I appreciate this product and company so much for doing what they're doing for my hair/skin and for the planet! Key tip: Carefully rinse hair off the blades as you shave, especially when doing large areas (legs), this helps prevent cuts, irritation and reduces time used having to go over areas

This review is for the 3 blade version. I was looking for a vegan disposable razor, as safety razors are difficult to use at odd angles (such as on the back of one's neck), and this delivers there. However, due to the recycled plastic shtick, there is a major engineering issue. Since it's entirely plastic and has no metal components, in order for the mating mechanism to be strong enough to support a user's force, it's very short. This means it interferes with the water steam when you try to clean it out and so it gunks up with hair very quickly. I hope in the future they reevaluate the decision to make even the handle entirely out of plastic, and come up with a better mechanism.

Product description is wrong. It does not come with three blades. It’s only two. Had a replacement package sent to me there only had two in it as well. Annoying to deal with

Been using these razor blades for years and usually get them at a health food store. Better price on Amazon
