Get the updated HAL 9100. The 9000 had some software issues that have been resolved with the 9100.

Is this a finished replica, or do you need to assemble and paint?

A: Pretty simple kit to paint and assemble. Only six pieces (not including the stand; but you’ll want to hang it on a wall, anyway). You’ll need model cement and primer & paint: flat black, silver and/or aluminum, semi-gloss black and gunmetal.

Is any soldering necessary to attach the sound module's wires, or are the connections pre-soldered or attached some other way? I can't solder.
