Great, versatile product that meets a real need
We have a narrow yard around our house, so the replacement sprinkler heads available from Home Depot, etc. that have a 12 - 15 ft. radius just don't work for us. These 4 - 6 ft. replacements are perfect for our needs and they work well. And they're fully adjustable, so there's no need to wonder which type you need. Perfect!When it comes time to install them, wear a bathing suit (you're gonna get wet) and bring a pair of pliers and a small screwdriver to make fine-tuning adjustments (I found them difficult to adjust with wet fingers, but with the pliers, no problem).I'll definitely be ordering more; these are my new "go to" irrigation solution.

Love the adjustable pattern feature
Noticed an area of grass dying in the Texas heat/drought. I check all the nozzles and found one that popped up but not spraying any water. Screen was clear and water was making it to the sprayer so ordered a new spray nozzle. Needed a 4-foot spray with about 200 degrees pattern so this was just what I needed. Installed easy and the 0–360 degree pattern was very easy to adjust to exactly what I needed. No more using a 180- or 270-degree nozzle and trying to make it work.

Hit or miss, questionable reliability
VAR nozzles are not very durable against accidental contact with an edge trimmer or weed wacker. Hunter is much more forgiving! Adjusting the arc on the variable arc nozzles have always been a bit difficult. Sometimes it's almost impossible to adjust the arc if they have been used for an extended period of time. It's almost as though they have frozen in place. Mineral deposits definitely take their toll on them.
