Best Drying Mat
I love this drying mat. It does everything it promises. It is durable and very functional. I love how it can fold up and be put away or laying flat it looks very discreet and isn't a tower of metal on your counter top. It is great for drying cups, water bottles, pots and pans. It is a little pricey so I would watch for it to go on sale, but it is a purchase I don't regret.

Compact Useful kitchen Staple
Works wonderfully. It really does absorb and dissipate water quickly. I really like how this folds up, but is still a good size when extended. I am able to put some large serving dishes on it easily for drying. Yes it is expensive, but it works well.

Disappointing and Misleading – Harbors Mold and Traps Water
I had high hopes for the Dorai Home Dish Pad – Collapsible, especially with all the talk about it being “mold-resistant” and “quick-drying.” Unfortunately, this product fell far short of expectations. The design, while sleek at first glance, is deeply flawed. The folds that are supposed to make it collapsible actually trap water, and instead of drying quickly, the pad stays damp and ends up growing mold, completely contradicting the product’s core claims. After just a short period of regular use, I noticed mildew forming in the creases, and no amount of cleaning seemed to fix it. It’s frustrating to spend good money on something that not only doesn’t perform as advertised but actually creates more of a mess in your kitchen. This is an expensive mistake.

Game changer drying mat!
GAME CHANGER!! Love this stone drying mat. It is so elegant and doesn’t allow moisture to seep into your counter and mold. It collapses effortlessly and can be stored in a drawer or set aside to be easily accessible without consuming your counter space. The packaging was pretty and provided care instructions. The silicon overlay allows air to get under the dish, allowing for a more thorough drying process. This would be a great house warming gift! This item can be used by anyone (we all have air dry/hand wash dishes/knives/utensils) and a nice, upscale treat that they wouldn’t necessarily buy for themselves but would LOVE. The neutral colors will incorporate easily into any kitchen color scheme. Stains are easily removed by kit provided and the overlay makes this non-slip and weight is sturdy but not overly heavy.

It was great...until it wasn't. Disappointed.
I initially had high hopes for this drying mat. For the first month, it performed wonderfully, aligning with its promises of quick drying. The stone's natural ability to wick away moisture was impressive, and it seemed like a durable, eco-friendly alternative to traditional mats. However, my satisfaction took a sharp turn after the two-month mark. Despite my efforts to maintain it by letting it dry completely between uses—I cook frequently, thus the mat was in constant use—it began to falter in its primary function. The once-rapid drying started to slow, significantly diminishing its effectiveness. What started as a minor inconvenience soon escalated into a major issue. Mold began to develop, accompanied by a persistent and unpleasant odor and discoloration that no amount of cleaning could ameliorate. I attempted to sand down and soak the stones in hopes of removing the stains and possibly mitigating the smell, but to no avail. The photo is from after I sanded, soaked, and scrubbed the mat extensively trying to revive it. As you can see, it still looks awful. The realization that I was past the return window only added to my frustration. Given the price point, which was not insignificant, the mat's performance—or lack thereof—was deeply disappointing. It's worth noting that while the concept of a stone drying mat is innovative and initially seemed effective, the long-term maintenance and durability issues significantly detract from its value. To potential buyers, I'd recommend considering other options. It looks like there are other stone mats out there that are much cheaper if you'd like to try those first. I really wanted to like this thing, and might try one of those cheaper options in the future, but for now, I'm back to my trusty washable mats that I replace every few days or so.
