We got a 2 pack for cheap and took these out in very high wind for the first time. Not having spars in them makes them very suitable for taking to a very windy place like the beach or very windy day because there is nothing that can break. This did great in the high wind staying stable as well.The main issue we had was with the strings that are tethered from the fabric to the main line. They can get tangled and there isn't any sort of loop to attach to the main line to so you have to make the loop yourself. If you don't do it carefully, it will be out of balance and that causes the kite to fly erratically and either spiral out of control or nose dive. One of the kites got tangled up this way and it was hard to get untangled. Now it needs the strings to be cut, untangled and retied, which isn't that hard but unfortunately it made it so we only had 1 kite to fly for the day. Fortunately it isn't going to be that hard to fix and now we know to take special car to make sure all the tethering strings are equal lengths and not get tangled before letting it ride. For the price paid for 2, it is a way better deal than the expensive kites we have bought elsewhere that break after one use in high wind.

Very easy to lift off on beach with decent wind. We didn’t use the extra string with handle by the 5 and 7 year olds because there were horses nearby that might’ve spooked if the kites came down near them. I think the 7 yo could’ve controlled the kite.It was the easiest kite I’ve ever flown.

These were very good quality kites. They can last for a long time.

Waa a bit hard to get in the air. Way too many string attached to it and they tangle. The snake kite is so much easier.

The media could not be loaded. Huge hit at the beach. Tied it off to a post and it entertained everyone around. Also everyone knew where to meet up. I figured it would have been trash at the end of the day. But to my surprise, it still looks brand new.

its been a minute since I’ve flown a kite, but even with Colorado winds I couldn’t get this thing up in the air. I kept wanting to do fancy things and zigzag or whatever I just want the thing to fly… got incredibly frustrated and it ended up in the trash lol however the quality was surprisingly impressive! Just wish I could’ve got the damn thing to fly lol
