Good little gadget

Loved this for our newborn! As new parents we were both a bit wary of clipping our babies nails but this is so easy to use and really gentle on babies nails. Its quiet too and the light is so useful. Also love the different files and colour coding for these, deffo recommend!

Absolute must for newborn

Having a baby is expensive, and I didn’t want to waste money on non-essentials. I thought “I don’t need an electric nail file” - I bought a hand one (designed to be worn as a ring) and then a pair of scissors and then a nail clipper, and after I clipped too close and cut her with it I resorted to just biting her nails.Then I bought this. Honestly, I wish I had bought it sooner. It’s gentle enough that it won’t damage her skin, but files the nails down. Quiet too so I can do it when she’s asleep.Only downside is it sometimes catches so doesn’t run 100% smoothly but for the money it’s great.

If you’re due to have a baby don’t get caught up in some of the bigger brands baby kits that come with scissors or clippers. They’re so hard to use on babies and young children and instead a better and less dangerous option is to file their nails.This electric nail file comes with multiple heads which change the texture and therefore how sharp they are.There is a handy light which means in the middle of the night you can trim your newborns nails to stop them scratching themselves and you!

My baby is 2 and a half weeks old, I was petrified to cut her nails with the clippers we got in a baby care set so I looked for an alternative. I filed her nails down in just a few minutes with this, she didn’t even wake up to the feeling of the vibration on her hands or feet and now she has smooth nails and won’t be able to scratch herself anymore! Very easy to use, would recommend for all parents!

Everyone said the electric nail files are great. I found they didn't trim them properly and now use a baby scissors instead.

We've used a motorised nail file size my kid was a baby, and after a bad incident with nail clippers kid (and I) developed a fear of using them again on tiny fingers. I got this lovely looking giraffe so that my toddler could make friends with him before we even tried to trim fingernails, and this worked. Now giraffe "kisses" each finger, with no pain or tears. Giraffe even gets kisses back!I've even used it on my own nails when I've had a little sharp edge I needed to remove. Would definitely recommend!
