I have a pair of boots, which hadn’t been worn for a while and consequently once I started wearing them the ‘leather’ sole began to split across ways. Naturally I was devastated, as the upper part of the leather boots were like new. I asked two shoe repairers’ who said they weren’t able to repair them because of the type of sole! Not being one to give in and I certainly wasn’t going to throw away a perfectly good pair of boots, I decided to have a go at repairing them myself. I’m so glad I did. These 4 piece sole saver and repair pads have certainly saved my boots and given them a new lease of life. I used a relevant waterproof adhesive to glue the spilt sole first and left them for the adhesive to ‘cure’ I then followed the easy to follow instructions, using the provided sandpaper to smooth the surface of the sole. I had expected to use extra adhesive around the edges, but so far, so good. I’ve worn them 6/7 times now and even been dancing in them! As you can see from my photo, they have lasted well and have a good non slip grip. I still have a pair of pads left, if I need to replace them. Good value, easy to apply, strong adhesive, non slip, I’m certainly ‘soled’ on these! 😊

This goes on easily, and is easy to trim around the edges. Does a great job, exactly what I bought it for but, after about a month, it starts to slide off and you have to go again.

It is really easy to cut and apply (don't forget to clean the sole of the shoe before applying). the only problem i have with it is the glue used on it is very weak and if used on the regular like me then it comes off really easily

My wife's shoes were slipping on smooth surfaces, so I purchased these sole protectors to see if she could get more grip. They worked perfectly. Very easy to apply and trim to shape and now some time has gone by, they show no sign of peeling off. Excellent.

Easy to cut and fix in place and possibly suitable for a life walking on carpets. However, both soles peeled off within a few hundred yards of walking on wet pavements.

It is convenient to cut, but it wears off pretty quickly. I walk a lot in the city. So on particular parts of the heel, where the pressure is more than on the others, this protection thinned out after just one use. Also, if you want it to stay in place, use the additional shoe glue or cement, removing the native glue layer first
