Better then harbor freight
Hammer is good and solid and I see it lasting a couple years with daily use. Can't beat it at the price point. The rubber handle grip is a 2 piece and after a couple good whacks it was already slipping off. Little bit of loctite and all is well.

Better than the alternative at a big box store!
Really well made hammer that stood up to an install of over 100 pavers aided in chipping up some old tile. Grips are secure and have no concern with any potential cracking.

Works as expected
This hammer works as expected. I have another deadblow hammer that I have owned for quite some time that I like a little better because it feels a little more dense, but this one is perfectly fine. It is a little rounded off on the corners. My other hammer is a little more squared off which I liked for bending metal around a form when I am holding the form and metal down on the table. Obviously a deadblow hammer is a pretty basic tool and I really can’t fault this one in any way.
