Very effective at doing what it does. A little awkward at fitting but, once on board, a handy little addition to making life better on stage with others kit around and sensitive amps.

I bought this to try to control the howling feedback I was getting when putting my acoustic guitar through my new Blackstar amp. The feedback was making the guitar almost unuseable, so I thought I'd try this. I'm glad to say that it's quite effective. Some reviews say it doesn't mute the guitar, but it isn't meant to. It has definitely improved the guitar's useability, I can use it at a sensible volume with no problem. I used it for a gig with the guitar going directly into the desk and it was excellent, no feedback at all. It's a perfect fit in my Gibson J100, my friend uses one on a Takamine, so it seems fairly versatile. I'm more impressed than I expected to be with this cheap little gadget, it does pretty much what it says on the tin, and all for the price of a chip supper!

Fits my Takamine EG363SC perfectly and has cured the feedback problem when plugged into my amp. The fit is tight but once in, no fear of dropping out in use. Highly recommended!

It solves the problem of feedback with acoustic guitars.

Worked quite well ,but I found that it changed the guitar tone making it slightly muffled but I can live with that ,you can adjust amp settings ,very little feedback though which was the point of getting it.

this is good but at times it slips under the sound hole and wont' sit above it so it is a bit frustrating having said that it has helped with fret buzz and it is a decent width yet it's not very heavy rubber and it won't last so long..I was surprised ot see one I sent for from china is thicker quality then this...a bit dissapointing really.

My guitar has a slightly smaller than standard sound hole (which is about 100 mm) - so this was too big to fit without risking damage to the guitar.The solution is the file down the edge of the cover - which is quite thick so you get plenty of adjustment room. I don't have a file so I used sandpaper which did the job. Took about an hour to get a good fit.Now fits perfectly and completely eliminates feedback when playing at gigs. Nice quality and rubber is quite soft so it will not damage the finish on your guitar.
