These work well and I can`t fault them if you need one get one, they are well-made and will last years.

The aqua stop feature is brilliant

When it comes to hosepipe connectors, I have learnt to my cost that it doesn't pay to go for low cost alternatives.I prefer Hozelock or Gardena connectors. They don't leak or drip and importantly, they don't pop off at random soaking everything! Also, if carefully stored over winter with a squirt of WD40, they work for years.I have fitted this premium connector on the end of a new hose extension I use for washing our cars. The auto-stop feature means I can swap between a brush attachment and a spray gun without any mess or the need to walk back to the garden tap.It is all plastic but it's good quality and this premium version has an improved grip of the hosepipe when compared with standard connectors.I am expecting many years faithful service. No complaints!! 😁👌😁

I have a large garden, with three outside taps, and have to connect, disconnect and reconnect hoses several times a day during the summer. I’ve used Hozelock connectors for years and, together with Hozelock metal double-male connectors, they’ve served me well. Quick, simple, and reliable - and they don’t get crushed if someone drives over a hose connection on the drive. I use a red ‘Aquastop’ connector on both ends of every section of hose, which saves a surprising amount of time and irritation. You don’t have to faff about making sure every length of hose is the right way round – you will ALWAYS have a red Aquastop at the business end of your hose, you will always have a red Aquastop to plug in to your sprinkler or sprayer, and you won’t ever get a surprise faceful of high pressure water when you disconnect. A red at both ends also makes disentangling a hose much quicker and easier, as it doesn’t matter which end of your hose ends up where – both ends are always the right end. I don’t remove and store my connectors during the winter – I just leave them on the ends of the hoses, connected up, lying on the ground out of sight behind hedges or bushes. I know it’s lazy, but it’s quick, easy and convenient. The downside of my laziness is that, after three or four winters, the spring-loaded internal ‘claws’ in the locking mechanism deteriorate and I have to replace the connectors. Can’t blame Hozelock for that.All in all, in my experience, these connectors thoroughly deserve a five-star rating.

When you make a false economy and buy a cheap spray head that breaks at the first frost that you didn't see coming, this is the perfect solution. Although it is fun when you are a child, trying to catch the dancing snake of a hose-end doing its own thing is only fun on a hot day when no one is watching and you have a spare change of clothes... but with this little connector you can get the water to where you need it without it coming out of the end (whether because of no gadget on the end, or because the gadget is broken, or doesn't have an "off" setting). For a bust spray head, in combination with a respect for water (and not wasting it) with this you can wander around the garden with the tap on, but a misbehaving end not connected and you have water the instant you connect it. Lots of reasons to like it.

Hose fitting was leaking and this fixed the issue. Important to make sure you push the hose right inside the body of the fitting to avoid leaks
