Love this powder and drink! Easy to make! Wish the states sell this drink! In Japan it’s everywhere! The taste is not too sweet but enough to quench your thirst. Helps with electrolytes and dehydration…wayyy better than Gatorade or any sports drink we have in the US!

We've been drinking Pocari Sweat to rehydrate/replenish fluids for years. It can be compared to something like Liquid IV, but in my opinion Pocari Sweat wins for the electrolytes and what I see it as more of a "I just sweat a bunch and need something more refreshing than water." Liquid IV, at least in my house, is more of an "I'm sick" drink; it has a ton of vitamins and minerals, which seems like it would be better for dehydration, but for me it actually feels like too much ad makes me nauseous.What I like about getting the powdered mix of Pocari Sweat is 1) You can make your drink as strong or as delicate as you want it to be. And for point 2) Considering how much you get compared to the single sticks of Liquid IV or nuun, its so much cheaper. The flavor itself I also find more pleasant than other choices, its a slight grapefruit taste, not overwhelming, pretty mild (unless you add a lot of powder).We live in south Georgia, where the humidity during the summer will often have our weather between 90-115 degrees. We sweat. A lot. So we've had a lot of this over the years and tried different hydrating supplements, and we always come back to this!

I discovered this on a sweaty summer trip to Japan and really prefer it to the usual sport drink suspects in the US. It's got a neat pan-citrus taste and refreshes swimmingly.

Got this to get used to electrolyte replacement being used at Tokyo Marathon. No stomach issues and the taste is fine. If you are allergic to grapefruit or take medicine that requires you avoid grapefruit, then you may want to skip this. Good value.

I got thirsty even after drinking water, so I bought it to drink water to match the electrolyte in my body. You can drink a lot of water because the taste of water improves if you put it in water. This product is perfect for supplying moisture in your daily life and when you sweat from sports, work, etc.

Bought a case of the bottles, but they expired less than a month later, and before I could drink them all. This has a much longer shelf life. Refreshing taste and great fuel for distance running. One packet is good for basically 2 bottles of water. I do wish each packet were smaller and good for a single water bottle to make things easier. I’m running the Tokyo marathon in March and getting used to this as this is their on course fuel. I’ll likely continue using it after the race.

I've been drinking this stuff for years, but I really enjoy that a single packet of the powder seems to be exactly the right size for my Stanley cup! I feel much more hydrated with this in my water than with other things, don't have to worry about a ton of sugar compared with Gatorade or something and it tastes pretty mild. Nothing but good things to say about Pocari Sweat. Really glad I can get it in bulk when the local store runs out on here.
