Great parking camera (very pleased)
I’m really pleased with this camera. It gives a very clear picture great colour detail and the night vision works very well given how small it is. There is a mode on my AVH-Z series head unit that allows you to constantly view what the rear camera sees. This is really good for making sure my caravan is behaving whilst being towed. (Also that moment you pull up to the lights and think…. He’s a bit close behind I wonder how close he really did get before he got off the phone) now you can see exactly. If you want increased visibility through the camera at night I’d recommend installing some small IR emitters linked into your registration plate lights if your rear lights don’t do the job. (My camera is bracketed to my rear plate) making a stainless steel bracket was the best solution as I didn’t want to drill more holes in the rear Valance for corrosion reasons and the stainless bracket can’t corrode. As I drive a pick up I never used to be able to see anything below the tailgate and the factory fit parking sensors don’t always see things like ballads. This camera has made a night and day difference to being able to reverse park (also extremely useful for backing up to a caravan/trailer hitch. Saves you having to get out 15 times)I’m really glad I bought this camera. Thanks to Amazon’s “customers also bought this” suggestion when I bought the head unit

Excellent quality reverse camera
Installation quite complex if you need to install in a VW Transporter due to routing wires from head unit to rear tailgate.Installation wiring instructions poor: the camera requires a separate live from brake power feed to activate the head unit. Not difficult to work out if practically minded but a novice will struggle.Apart from that it's an excellent quality reverse camera with clear picture.Recommended

Great camera and works perfectly with pioneer head unit
I'm not sure what people are expecting quality wise from this, I mean it's not designed for making movies? Does the job perfectly for my car, easy to install. Can't fault it!

High quality rear camera
This is my favorite rearcam for my car. It’s a bit pricey, but you will not regret buying this one. It has a very sharp picture and great view even when its pit dark.

Transporter LWB - Self Installed
Love this camera. So easy to fit into a pioneer head unit it’s unreal. The brown plug goes into the brown receiver for the imaging, the Black you tap into a black wire on the stereo harness to ground, the red you tap into the red wire on the stereo harness for an ignition live. I then took of the rear light, worked out which cable was providing power for the reversing bulb, spliced into that, run a cable to the head unit and tapped into the violet/white wire marked ‘reverse cam in’. Stereo operates as normal, put the T5 in reverse and the camera pops up. Installed in an hour. I initialised the grid system on my cam so I can comfortably get within 6 inches of an obstacle. I fitted mine on the bottom of the rear bumper (I loosened the bumper off and ran the cable behind). Night vision is great... vision is great 👍

Wrong connections for pioneer dab radio
Camera arrived in time .But on looking at the leads it had the wrong connection to fit the pioneer head unit as there wast a vacant hole to plug it into l Rang the customer service and explained to them and they told me disconnect the lead that was in the hole.Which was impossable to do as then the head unit would t work . I returned it to them for refund as it was t a pioneer Camera. Still waiting for refund rang them but never answered 5 calls but never answered

An excellent addition to the pioneer unit. Really useful in a van with no rear windows.
Easy to use once wired correctly. Instructions are not brilliant. You need an extra wire to make the camera come on when car is put into reverse but that is not explained at all.
