Range only review
This is a first impression, range only review of the Stratos hybrid irons. Disclaimer: I suck at golf. Middle aged, high handicapper here, but I love the game.First, the irons look great. I didn't know if the larger top view would be distracting, but I'm pleasantly surprised that it's not.Second, the irons weight feels good in the hands. You can feel the head of the club at the bottom of the swing. To me it feels that the club naturally falls back to the address position effortlessly.Third, the shafts feel nice. I got the regular flex and these are my first graphite shafted irons. I didn't really know what to expect but I really like them. Makes the club feel light in the hand, which goes back to my second point.Fourth, when hit well, the ball launches high and fast! When not hit well, the ball launches fast, but not as high. Basically, if you get the club on the ball, it's going down the fairway.Solid strikes feel good with a positive sound but not like traditional irons. I honestly prefer the sound of them, sounds solid without being hollow. There's no vibration in the hands when not struck just right. My old irons gave very negative feedback when I didn't hit the ball well. The short irons are amazing. Including the A and S wedges. (I purchased those as well.). From the Sand wedge to the 7 iron, I hit them solid. After struggling with my irons for years, this was exactly what I was hoping for. The 4-6 irons I still need some time in the range. I don't hit them as well as a traditional hybrid, but I struck them way better than any iron ever. I've never been able to get a 4 iron off the ground, but I was hitting the Stratos 4 iron very well comparatively speaking.I can still slice any of the irons but I had a few balls that looked amazing with a slight draw, which I have never been able to hit, especially with an iron. Tha vast majority of well struck shots went high and straight. The sand and approach wedges are amazing, have I said that yet. They give a very positive click when struck well. They launch high and seem to land soft. I have a tendency to shank my old 56 degree wedge. I was able to hit the Stratos sand wedge without issue. No shanking or blading at all. Just high and straight every ball. Same with the approach wedge. For a range review and for reigniting my desire to play, I give these irons 5 stars. I'll try to update after I get them out on the course, but that will be a few months. Obviously I can't speak to longevity but I don't think that will be an issue unless I snap a shaft.

Hidden gem?
If you're looking to try a set of hybrid irons, I don't see a reason not to give these a try. I took a chance due to the lack of info available. Based on price, appearance and fast shipping I have to give them a thumbs up.The performance, for my skill level (15 handicap) is basically on me. Whether I hit them well or not has nothing to do with the quality look of these clubs. Just be prepared, the 4 & 5 has a low profile face. Looks like they would be good for short rough.

Short order
Not good. Ordered a set of golf clubs, and only received one club. As a Prime member was looking for faster delivery. But no. Took six days to arrive and didn't get all the clubs.

Great beginner irons, but lacks distance
I love hybrid irons, for the confidence you get at address, and the swing balance (not letting the head move out of place). I hit these irons pretty decently. The only knock I have on this set is the lack of power I'm getting. After i hit a solid shot, the ball just seems to die in the air. Now, I'll take a straight or shot (that goes close to where I was aiming) over power, but at some point, you'll want to see some power from your irons.Use these irons to build up confidence in your swing, then transition when you're ready.Thanks.

Get what you pay for
Stupid low price. Clubs that look good hit great and seem well built. If this is the type of club you want to try, you should already have them.

Great Alternative to the other name brand
Great alternative and very forgiving club. Costs a fraction to what the name brand $$$$. Very forgiving on miss-hits.

Broken Shaft
The media could not be loaded. 2nd round using these clubs. Layup off the tee on a dogleg. Clean hit and the head breaks off the shaft. Sent 3 emails to the company and have heard nothing. Makes me wonder every time I swing the other clubs.
