Great, easy to print PETG
I got the multi-color chameleon flavor, so I can't vouch for the other colors and varieties of Stronghero3D's PETG, but from my experience, it prints great. It handles overhangs better than some other PETGs, the color is subjectively pretty cool, and I had no issues printing. It's not brittle, and seems fairly strong. No complaints here!

You get what you pay for.
This is a hard review to write... on the one hand, this cost me $12 for a roll but on the other hand, there's issues. Overall though, it's considerably better than I could expect given the price.I've just finished off my first roll, and I have strong opinions. First off, the colour is great. Dark black with a nice gloss. Once properly tuned, it prints very well with no real bed or layer adhesion issues. It's PETG, but doesn't string too much once dialed in, and bridging is possible (though not great, it is still PETG). I had no issues with clogging nor blobbing issues beyond what I have with other PETG, and there were no tangles in the filament. It's also $12 for a roll. Now onto the things to be aware of... first off, the diameter is very inconsistent... ranging from 1.62 to 1.76 in the same roll. Those measurements are the average of 90° at the same place with a calibrated micrometer. This filament was oval at every place I measured it, and I measured it *a lot*. For small prints, you can get away with unrolling all you'll use, measuring it then average it. Be sure to measure at right angles at each point because it will be oval. For larger prints, it's best to set the diameter to 1.75 and expect some minor underextrusion.Next is the finish... when printed at 4mm³/s (regardless of hotend speed or layer height) the finish is a matte black. When printed at 3mm³/s and lower, it's nice and shiny. Since your hotend will accelerate and decelerate during the print, printing 4mm³/s or higher means some high gloss areas and some matte areas. You really need to keep the volumetric rate very low, even for PETG if you want to look at the print. This does not seem to impact layer adhesion or anything else, so for hidden functional parts, faster is fine.Because of the above issue, this isn't a good every-day PETG to leave on your printer, rather this is one to pull out when price matters and quality doesn't... prototypes, kinematics tuning, things with lots of supports that can take a long time to print etc. If you try to print everything with this you will get frustrated and stay that way.All of that said, I'm going to be keeping a couple rolls of this in my dry box at all times from now on, but only until something cheaper comes along. This is bargain basement filament only for use when price is the most important factor. When *anything* else matters, spend more and use something better.

Great quality
Prints turned out great but not like what was shown in the description. Seemed to have more lighter blue (almost white) in the preview of the filament. Other than that looks great with the prints. Will have to buy a few more rolls for the other projects.

its probably real PETG
prints well out of the box, nice color gradient. decent part strength, poor layer adhesion sometimes but that could be my fault. print it quick and store in a dry box though because it will absorb moisture and then your prints will not just be stringy but filled with ugly bubbles as well.

Poor adhesion and quality
I changed my rating from one star to five stars because although I had a hard time printing anything with this filament as seen in my previous review below, I am yet satisfied as StrongHero the store from which I purchased this went above and beyond to help me. They were very fast to respond to my inquiry and swiftly offered a refund for this product. I was not expecting that but I will continue to purchase from them as the customer service is amazing and on top of everything. A+ thank you StrongHero3D for your outstanding customer service and satisfaction.I didn't use this filament right away so it's now too late to contact the seller so my only option is to leave a bad review unless it gets resolved. Now I don't know if I just got a bad roll or what but I've been having trouble with adhesion to the bed most of all while other products worked great. Even using a raft it was difficult and if I did make something it broke easily. Now this is supposed to be petg but it prints like pla but worse. It melted at 200c while 220 or more was too hot. I struggled with this filament and wasted a lot. Again it could be just a bad batch but I'm a month past the return date. Hopefully others have better luck but I wasted money I cannot get back on this and now I am afraid to purchase this brand again. However if they help me out then I would change my review.

Inconsistent from batch to batch. I give up
I had a really bad experience with Stronghero3D PETg a while back, decided to give them another shot, and to my surprise it worked really well. I had ordered more spools, and it has been printing very consistently and really cleanly. I had 4 spools left over and setup 4 prints using the same settings I've been using for months -- 75c bed, 255c nozzle, all good, clean prints. Those spools were dated May 2020.It looked like this could be a goto PETg. It worked perfectly for about a dozen of spools. I was running out, I re-orered expecting the same thing, and nope. I got something weird.First print clogged, but for no particular reason, I retracted it, fed it through again, and it was fine. Tried another spool on a different machine, another clog, and again, no reason, retracted it fed it again, worked fine. I noticed the newer spools dated Aug 2020, produce much shinier parts, so I turned the temp down to 240, and got a very nice 4+ hour print with no clogging. It seems they keep fiddling with their blend, and it's not for the better. Had a 10 hour print at settings which seemed to be good just start sputtering a nd start to extrude weird. Had another print which needed a bit more cooling, adjusted the fan by 10% and it started to clog. I give up. This is going back to Amazon with 2 spools unopened because I'm not a masochist, and 2 spools partially used, as I wanted to confirm it's the entire batch, as my order of 4 was split between 2 distribution centers, and both produced the same weird results.

Works good and nice effect. But too much stringing
Works as filament and has a cool effect but the amount of stringing can almost bind two piece across a build plate.

Works well, good prints
Good print quality and easy to work with. Unlike the PLA that I bought from this company, this is properly spooled and went smoothly through my extruder. The prints are well done and the filament seems to be very consistent throughout the spool.

My new go-to PETG.
First off, PETG is PETG and I didn't find that this was stringing or fussing any more than anything else I have printed. Granted, I don't use this material for smaller detailed pieces, I usually print larger scale stuff that has to be tough and this filament never let me down for those purposes.Awesome price and fantastic quality if you've got your machine dialed in, definite recommendation!
