MISSION Cooling Anywhere Wide Brim Bucket Hat

I generally hate wearing hats. But being outside during summer time in Texas requires it or else you are going to overheat.I have worn basic sun hats and ball caps and really have not enjoyed any of them. But this one rocks!First, I love the design. It is almost like the cowboy hat that I’ve been wanting to buy.Despite my skepticism, it works! It really, really works! You dunk it, you squeeze it, you wear it. The evaporation of the water as you’re working outside really does cool you down. And because there’s so much mesh, you never feel like you are being smothered. The heat rises through the top and feels like a very light breeze.Combined with the brim size, I no longer worry about being beaten down by the sun. It’s almost like working in the shade. Not really. The rest of my body is still exposed. But my head is well covered!The material is flexible and nicely conforms to the shape of my head.One cool thing is that there is a small zipper pocket on the side. Never seen that on a hat before. Great place to put your house keys if you don’t want them poking you in your pant pocket.Love this hat!

Very comfortable and certainly kept my head cool in the desert heat.

I like the look of the hat. Brim is wide enough to keep the sun off my ear, nose and neck while in the sun. It's vented so my head doesn't get too hot when wearing it. I have a small head (size 7) so it's a little loose. Not a big deal for what I wear it for.

This is very cool to wear..not hot. It’s lightweight and washes up wonderfully. Like the sun protection. Great value.

I ordered 3 different colors in this style of Mission Hat. Charcoal, Navy and Etched Camo Black Forest. The Charcoal's stitching and brim size were inconsistent with the Navy and Etched Camo Black Forest. The stitching was poorly done throughout the hat and the brim size was smaller or not as wide as the other two colors...Hoping it was a one-off, I returned the Charcoal in exchange for the identical style, again in Charcoal. The second delivery had the same quality issues, causing me to believe the Charcoal is manufactured at a different location. I was very pleased with the quality of the Navy & Etched Camo Black Forest which made this transaction frustrating since I wanted three hats, just in different colors for my family...This style also comes in Black, which didn't interest me, so I'm unaware if it has similar issues as the Charcoal...
