Quite the value. More than meets the eye. A steal at $16.98, not bad at $24.99
I'm going to echo what a lot of other people say here: At first this bag didn't * LOOK * like it could hold that much, but it's turned out to be just the right size.It comes collapsed in a clear plastic bag. Once you open it and, start filling it and make use of the side pockets, it sort of blossoms and you go "Right On!".PROS:I can fit the following into this with some room to spare:> Stethocope in zipper case.> Sphygmometer (battery powered , wrist type blood pressure cuff device - in it's plastic clamshell storage case).> Pulse Oximeter> Digital thermometer (forehead/ear type).> Hot/cold compress bladder pack.> About 14 trial or mini-size (2.5 inch high) of: Asprin, Ibuprofen, Band Aids, Triple Antibiotic, Eye Drops, Gas relief pills, Cough/Cold syrup, Pepto Bismol, Athlete's food cream, anti-itch medicine, and on and on.> I still have room for some gauze rolls /pads, isopropyl alcohol, scissors, Anbesol which I will purchase later.> The carry strap is resizable. The quality of the material and the straps is more than adequate for my purposes. Not flimsy. The strap comes sized in a shorter "handle" mode but you could easily reel it out so it could be a shoulder strap. The zippers on the side pouches are of decent quality.CONS: The bag comes with this adjustable padded divider setup. A grid that has sewn in velcro strips in various places. I found that this darn partition itself - while a nice idea - was a space hog. I never used them. They are well enough made that I saved them for some other future purpose but not this medical bag.Speaking of velcro, there is high quality velcro on the outer front part of the bag and also under the overall flat, but it's placed in a place that I found kind of useless. Fortunately the bag cover can be secured with two hefty straps that have substantial black plastic click /snap connectors that lock up solidly._______________________________________________IN CLOSING: Quite the value. More than meets the eye. A steal at $16.98, not bad at $24.99.I made 4 complete kits using this as the base/holder and the stuff mentioned above. I'm probably into each kit about $110 total including bag. Not bad for a basic Health "bug out" bag.

Leaves some to be desired, but a great size bag for the value
For $22, this bag is a pretty solid purchase compared to other bags of similar size. That being said, this bag is not the best built and not the most secure. I have this as an emergency bag in a car, but if frequent use was in mind, I would point you else where as this bag looks like it would not survive a few tosses of a few feet or more (If you are spending only $22 on a medical bag though you are probably not going to be using it daily though so should not be a problem). There is an obvious lack of compartmentalization inside (even a single pouch or some internal straps would have been nice) compared to other bags at the same price point, but where this bag excels is the size and space you get at the cost. The compartments themselves are of the perfect size for what I needed (Divided up the compartments, one for each of M.A.R.C.H. plus 1 for general first aid stuff and orthopedic injuries) Construction aside, if this bag had zippers to more properly retain equipment it would be much better. Adding some internal zipper pouch or some way to retain stuff on the inside would be a nice bonus as well. They do disclaim all these limitations on retention in the description, so based on what they describe you get, they are delivering. The only down side is my concern of stuff spilling out of the top. Even Velcro'd and cinched down, the retention is a bit suspect.

Great for car or event use. Super separation of components! Needs velcro...
Short version: Yes, I recommend this First Responder bag for individuals configuring their own kits, instead of pre-packaged first aid kits.I teach First Aid, but am not a working First Responder. I needed a slightly larger bag, with the ability to separate the various component groups (e.g. bandages, topicals, cleansing, splint, PPG, etc.). This bag comes with a (1 big, 2 smaller pocket) removable divided compartment (see image). Between the sides of the compartment and the side of the bag is space to further separate elements (e.g. ziploc of bandages). A separate front pocket holds my gloves, wipes, and other protective gear. The outside side pockets hold CPR pocket mask, tourniquets, flashlight, and other bulky items. This bag holds all that I need for travel, sports, and general health use.NOTE: It has one shortcoming; no velcro holding the side flaps together (see "velcro" image). Without velcro, when grabbing the bag from the side, the flap pulls out. I am solving it by adding velcro on the flaps, but it should have been there in the first place.UPDATE: after adding 2x4" stick-on Velcro (see image), the flaps hold well and the bag retains its shape.

Primacare KB-R074, Best First Aid/EMT Trauma Bag for this size
I did side by side comparisons of 4 different First Aid/Trauma bags and the Primacare bag is one of the best value bags for this size. It is a nice size for the trunk of my car. Holds enough equipment but not too large and It has some nice features that the other bags don't. It has: 1) Covering on the bottom that provides extra protection for the contents and that is easy to wipe clean. 2) extra large flaps on the inside so your gear does not spill out or other things fall into the bag. 3) slightly better quality bag fabric, 4) reflective tape on the outside perimeter 5) interior dividers that help keep things organized.

Plenty of space
Love this. I'm a retired R.N. and it goes with me whenever I'm in my vehicle. Easy to find items that require battery checks. Well made.

Small and cute
I like the color, the reflective features on it but it’s not so durable. The front strap broke within the first couple of weeks. And the inside divider moves around too much. It’s cute for a costume or something but it has no use for every day wear since it can break easily and doesn’t hold things well.
